I sometimes played just to listen to this tune - reminds me of launching turrican2 on amiga just for the intro :) Also the transition from the previous level to a new world starting with this earworm melody which gets more intense during the flight is like 100% perfect - never had this feeling in any game over 30 years - 30:35 not bad either , just played it :)

Rik Ede is a genius. This soundtrack has such consistently high quality throughout (well poor sound quality, but awesome tunes.) I really wish somone would remix or remaster this whole thing!

I love the bloody rave influence in volcanic levels, the first part of game. I cant stop listening to 4-1 (38:00). kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJSadHuleaqbpaM this is the part I love most. This god damn sound deserves remake

I remember when I first played the level 1 with a demo CD I got in a magazine. I was so stoked by that soundtrack + 3D graphics combination that the day after I spent all the money I had been saving for months to buy Nascar Racing to get Novastorm. And I didn't regret it. Average game, but great editing.

Would love to know what everyone thinks the pilot says when approaching the bosses (and 4 times when taking off at the start) Its garbled and heavy muffled (as if shouted into an oxygen mask - Sounds like "weapons free - four miles"

Sorry to report so late, but Mr Ede lost his original copy of the OST w/o the in-vid effects. Best he (and we) have is the capture from the game - from a GUS-soundcard. I still have the emails from him about that .)
