The story about Black Friday. The company uses cameras to get the people who come in and walk out with stuff.

That's exactly what I was saying, everyone who walked out without paying will eventually be caught

The one about the jello turkey made me think of an art class project where we had to make something commonplace unappealing using color and texture. I put grey paint in a ketchup bottle. But mine was never meant for consumption. The sister wants to be an artist but forgets that culinary artists make edible art. Also, real glitter? Really?

My mom complains that every Christmas is the same food every year but my siblings and i love it that way. Got to have the classics! My mom will usually try one new dish but it doesnt replace a classic one!

Non-toxic craft glitter doesn't have anything in it that will kill you or cause immediate medical distress, but it's made from plastic and aluminum. It is absolutely not safe to eat. You do not want to be filling your body with microplastics and metal. Edible glitter is made from things that are actually edible, like sugar, cornstarch, and various pigments. It's still not especially good for you, but it doesn't fill your body with inedible materials that your body can't metabolize and that are linked with cancer.

And some glitter is made from glass. It won't kill you, but it could still give you abrasions on your insides all the way through your digestive tract. It's making my skin crawl just thinking about it

Let the sister host the Thanksgiving with the nasty food, but still make the normal good food and have it hidden so when no one eats the sister's food you can come in and save the day

On the one hand, I think you shouldnt be in CS if you…hate serving customers. On the other, CS is soul crushing work for shit pay and Blackfriday is that on steroids. Fun Fact, walmart has like 30-35% of their employees on food stamps or welfare because they DO NOT pay them enough

I will say, most retail workers are miserable because they have 50 Karens yelling at them all day. Maybe even poor management adding to it too. I say this as a retail worker. It's typically not the job that's miserable, it's the people. Mostly Karens. So just be nice and patient to retail workers. Especially this time of year.
