Story 3 is so heartbreaking. I'm glad the wife can actually lean on her husband for support. That's a true man. Virtual hugs to the parents of angel babies. We might not fully heal, but we can push through ❤️🩹

Even if she has kept the money when the husband past ... Listen to her story... She would have drank it away!! It would have been gone entirely. The best thing for BOTH kids is what she did and the brother wanted to SHARE. That kid is a brat for this and needs to see beyond his nose.

Most of my life, I was anti-makeup, except on stage (Theatre kid). I was a one-woman campaign for women's liberty from this particular societal pressure! Over the past few years though (since I turned 40, now that I think about it), I've just really begun to like it. I wear it when I want, with bright fun eyeshadow shades and color-changing eyeliner, and I love it.

Perhaps my opinion I this is controversial but I think because it's becoming more unisex to wear make up and less fitting into a box and more expression it's really becoming something else. I know I feel different about make up at almost 40 too

Story 5 makes me so sad and angry for that poor family. No matter what sister's motive was, telling a child he's unloved and unwanted by his mom is one of the most horrible and cruel things she could do. And he was so young and vulnerable when she told him that he was just figuring out who he was and what life was going to look like and she altered his entire future and he probably took it as confirmation that his mom didn't love him when she, from his perspective, "lied to him" about where his brother's college fund had come from.

My daughter in law had too many losses before she was able keep one. I was the one that was after her to be careful and stay away from stress. She is an assistant manager and her mom is her manager and it is still very stressful.

As an autistic person, if someone destroyed my keyboard suddenly like that, I'd see it as a personal assault. Agree she should talk to an attorney and document everything

No, there has to be limits in there has to be respected privacy for personal and internal thoughts. But he should have talked to her about how he felt.

It's good she knows now. I really hope she gets the hell out of there.

Story 3 with birth plan. As a mil I’d be but hurt too for about 5 seconds then mark the calendar for the big meet the baby day. I would understand and respect their decision 100%

With story one IDK man he wrote that FOR his therapist. It wasnt to friends or family or the internet. It was for himself/his therapist. And how do you go from photos to notes? Idk if he was treating her different then sure but hes not.

Story 1: you guys always go on and on about how you can't be a jerk for your thoughts. He probably knew these were horrible thoughts and journalled it instead of telling a close friend to get it off his chest; so as NOT to embarrass her. He had tons of notes, so that might be something his therapist encouraged him to do. Also, society doesn't pressure women to wear make-up. The subculture you choose does that. I'm a mathematician and never wear a stitch, and neither does any other woman I work with (grad students included). I live in a rural mountain town and know exactly one woman up here that wears it. It's the humans you choose to be around that put that pressure on you, and it is 100% you if you choose to bend to that pressure. Who cares if strangers think you are pretty???
