@@seraphywang4638 from what i see, she already taught him everything and he was not a child anymore when she left. She also wrote him recommendation to get Alice to help him join the Knight of Favonius as a Chief Alchemist. The Hexenzirkel members treat each other as sisters so Alice took him in for that reason. Its like when people joke that Kaeya's father left for milk but Kaeya didnt take the abandonment that way. He believed his father wanted him to escape the dark side of his bloodline and left him in Mondstadt so he could enjoy a peaceful life. We don't know why Gold left so suddenly, but given what happened to them, i think all the khaenriahns social life are very complicated. I think its a good thing that their 'children' don't have to get involved. Another thing to note is that the lore of Genshin is built up in a way that helps the devs to constantly surprise us. They tend to lead us to believe one thing, and then later change our perspective with new information. That's why they put all the blame on Gold at the start for what happened in khaenriah and label her as 'great sinner' and that she created Durin who almost destroyed Mondstadt so basically we view her as an overall terrible person. But now we know actually all pureblood khaenriahn are labelled as 'great sinners' anyway and the people were turned to monsters by the gods, not by Gold. Durin originally was a kind dragon, whatever that turned him to a monster I dont think was Gold's intention. When Caribert woke up in the recent archon quest, he said he felt like he was in a long dream and that was what Durin experience as well when he fought Dvalin and terrorized Mondstadt. So I think the reason why he did so was due to curse. Another thing to note is that this is not the first time Rhine refers to her experiments as her 'children'. In Durin memories in Dragonspine spear, she also referred to them the same way, and he called her his mother. I think that used to be how it was until the cataclysm. Probably she always knows she may leave albedo and did not want him to get attached so she asked him to call her 'master' instead. Ofc i dont think Rhine is sane in anyway, but there are certainly more to her story than just a crazy scientist.

There are so many of them still 'alive' but she only considered albedo as the only one left. Another perspective though is Susbedo might actually never had a form and only once he saw albedo and realised he was similar that he copied albedo's appearance. So he might have been dead from when he was in testtubes. In Festering desire sword lore, they were referred to as "Unborn life, unfulfilled wishes" which could suggest they never came to live.

It was so epic to hear Mona's master go "Let me Scry", since that's Mona's signature line when she casts her EM skill, and what she says before she prophesizes. She complains about her master a lot, but I'm sure she'll be the first to defend her, since I'm sure Mona looks up to her greatly. It doesn't seem like the witches are evil in anyway, but all actually just want to live happy lives without waging war, despite being from other countries/regions. It's really cool how all their successors convened for this tea party for the Windblume's Breath Event, it really was the perfect time to reveal the background story on the Hexenzirkel. Klee for "A" Alice, Scarlett for "J" who's the witch maybe from Snezhnaya who was also the one who got married, Mona for "B" who is Mona's master, Albedo for "R" Rhinedottir (Gold) who is Albedo's creator and "mother". "N" is for Nicole, and she only talked during the final part of Wanderer's Interlude Story Quest. "M" is the person who wrote "The Boar Princess" Book, who's likely passed away for awhile now. I still want to find out why Rhinedottir created all those Wolf enemies that we mostly see in Inazuma and Enkanomiya, there's not enough info to uncover what her true intentions were for those monsters. I also really want to meet Mona's master, and possibly the other witches as well, since all of them have really interesting stories, and I want to know how they and their true successors have been fairing. It's really awesome how Alice low key implies that the Windblume festival may have been a commemorative happy event made by Venti, in remembrance of the Witches Tea party and "J"'s marriage day. Looking forward to learning more about Teyvat's history, and the characters who played legendary parts in it's creation! Skipping this Event Story Quest is a nightmare for Lore enjoyers, so make sure those of you interested don't leave this Event out! Happy Windblume everyone! 😆

“Even if the nations go to war” Almost makes it sound like they’re each from a separate nation, of the witches we know: -Mona is from Fontaine so it’s reasonable to assume ‘the old hag’ is aswell -Gold is from Khaenri’ah -Alice from Mondstadt -Scarlett appears to be Snezhnayan so ‘J’ may be too There’s 8 witches and 8 nations we know of (Khaenri’ah included), hopefully this lore is expanded on in a 2nd Venti story quest

We confirm lots of things in this event about Venti: 1. He's the Mages trusted friend and counselor of some sort. 2. Surprisingly him and Gold are friends. After 500 years, their interaction going to be important 3. He is confirmed to know all secret of the world. I'm not even surprise if Venti still remember Rukhadevata and Scaramouche due to his relationship with Nicole and his winds that blowing everywhere around Teyvat

Mondstadt events are mostly about Venti and his association with other powerful figures. Most of it's gameplay are related to parkour/casual minigames. Liyue events are focused on Liyue's history of gods, adeptis, and humans. It's gameplay are related to time trials and puzzles. Inazuma events are like Liyue's, it focuses on Inazuma's own lore. It's gameplay are related to coop or combat. Idk about Sumeru, i just came back from being 1.5 years absent

Mondstad event always answered some questions but add further questions than answers. Liyue and Inazuma events just revealed and answered the past story and rarely have any significance for future lore.

Like in Sumeru, the instrument given to us by the Aranara during the world quest is implied to originally be owned by Venti. It only strengthens those suspicions when he appeared in a web event. Theres probably more lore from events. But I was not around for them.

After so many events where the Travele was the centre, the protagonist, the sun, we got an even where we just....help. It's been a wonderful story, an almost soothing journey following two girls that just became friends and the end was so romantic and peaceful I just coudln't stop smiling. we are a witness, as Zhongli stated way back... and boy if this was as tale worth witnessing. Thank you Hoyoverse, this is truly a gem of an event. I hope that these words reach the ones behind it even if I have little hope for it. They deserve all the praise of the world

well for this year even though archon meeat-up was great in liyue fest last month but this windblume event more good IMO. you got two character development collei and sucrose also collei got new friend besides of amber. sucrose despite being introvert she was actually profesional as held the fest. and love the lore bomb at the end of quest

All we know for sure is that 6 out of the 7 were there in Khanreah. Makoto was killed as seen in Ei's cutscene. Were they there out of their own volition? We don't know. They did commit war crimes? Probably, as stated by Dain. But does that stop the archons from loving the humans that reside in their respective nations? No. Is Venti bad? He is morally grey as most characters do. One thing for sure tho, he'll do anything for Mondstadt and his children and that's how he will be remembered by his people.
