Hearing these story times I always wish I could hug baby Lex because all you needed was somebody to care about you. Makes me want to cry if I think too much about it. But you have become the best version of yourself and you are now the mother that your mom couldn’t be. I honestly think that the reason your mom and your grandma “hate” you is because you were stronger than them. You did what they couldn’t do. You broke free from those generational curses. It sucks that you had to fight tooth and nail, and still fight to get away from all the trauma. But you are free. Your children are now free, and they don’t have to ever worry about any of the stuff you did. They have a fierce warrior in their corner that is ready and willing to walk through the fire so they don’t have to. Everything you did, every decision, every scar every time you chose to keep living was for them even before they even existed. You were made with a purpose and so were your children. This is why some people can’t stand you or hate on you because you have a light in you that they don’t have. They will never have.

I can relate to so much of what you've experienced even down to the conversations you have with yourself about whether situations are real or imagined. When you doubt yourself or wonder if you were mistaken when you are reliving what really happened during those moments that was your survival instinct kicking in to protect your heart. If you and I had a conversation you would be shocked at the parallels in our lives, and how much I really know and believe in what you share. I believe that Sam, Joe, your ex, and your ride or die friend (I can't remember her name) wanted that special quality that God blessed you with to rise above situations and circumstances that were terrifying and that left emotional scars. It's a level of class and character that cannot be bought or faked. You either have them or you don't, and you have them in spades. You're thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic, strong in character, and you did your best to rise above what others thought, assumed or heard. Even at times when you thought poorly about yourself and you started to doubt your worth you were blessed. Your beauty starts deep inside of you and just shines. You have been blessed with the love of a good man and beautiful, loving children. You still have to deal with drama and individuals that want to tear you down because you're dealing with unresolved conflicts, and you rise above the circumstances when you are speaking your truth and dealing with these unresolved situations from your youth. You RISE. That's a blessing God bestowed upon you because he knows your worth, and he made you to be fearful and wonderful. He has been walking with you your whole life, and He will continue to do so because you have been chosen by him to be an example and a light unto others. He knows the trials you've been through, your heartache and the doubts that you continue to struggle with constantly. I see you. I SEE YOU. You are one of God's chosen and I thank you for having the courage to share what you've gone through, and every time you share you are praising and exalting God in a way that you don't even fully understand, but there will come a day when it will all be made clear to you. Thank you so much, and may you and you're family have a blessed and peaceful Christmas. May you also feel God's peace and blessings, and as I pray for you I will pray for healing and restoration in your life. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God in his perfect image, and he has so much in store for you. Keep the faith and remain true to yourself.
