Hey Guys! This is another video from my sub-series: Mexico Story Time. If you’re a person considering traveling to or living in Mexico but perhaps have only stayed in all-inclusive hotels (booo!! get out and see the true Mexico!), have only visited a a few cities or simply want to see more of Mexico, then this is for you!
I’m giving viewers a tour around Mexico based on my travel experiences and will share personal (and sometimes crazy stories of my own-and I have A LOT) that ONLY happen in Mexico! Haha. And the accumulation of these experiences is what has made me choose to move to and live in Mexico permanently.

In this video, I tell you about a time when I stayed in Mexico City leading up to New Years Eve and I stayed at the hotel were the James Bond movie 007 Spectre was filmed in 2015! It's such an amazing hotel! It has the 4th largest Tiffany-style stained-glass ceiling in the world.... Also, did you know the movie was the catalyst for the Mexico City Day of the Dead parade?! Mexico City didn't previously have a DoD parade but created it after the movie. Before COVID, that parade was nuts! Literally thousands and thousands of people went each year and it was only growing... I attended it one year and will share it later in one of my upcoming Story Times. Thanks for watching!

Many years ago I spent a few nights on the top floor of the Gran Hotel Cuidad. Drinking Cuban rum at the end of the day I got (OCD) curious and started counting the panes in the ceiling. I got to around 44,000

U can go to the restaurant at the top of the sofitel hotel in paseo de la Reforma and enjoy the view there

I did . In the exact same room 40 years ago. But he suppose entered the wrong room . To be in the corner of the hotel on the 3rd floor of a 4 story building

Much of 007's "Licence to Kill" (1989) was filmed in different parts of Mexico, including the Gran Hotel de la Ciudad de Mexico.
