So Sky's issue with Tiffany was because of Dutchess. We already knew Dutchess didn't like her and at that time, Sky and Dutchess were still close. It was more of a loyalty thing that spiraled as more people started having problems with her, which i can understand cause most people would move the same when it comes to their friends. Although if you want to get into it the reason Dutchess didn't like her from day 1 is because Tiffany had everything she was wishing she did, and she didn't have to go on a reality show and use a man to get it.

It's not so much that Dutchess couldn't handle running the shop- because if it's one thing Dutchess can do it's run Black ink- it's that she didn't want to, and we never seem to have the time and energy to do the things we don't want to do. She already had a foot and a half out the door at this point in the series, and she was really only interested in tending the fence until she made her final exit.
