Great story, reminds me of the Maya Angelou quote that you can tell a lot about someone by how they handle 3 things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas lights.

I'm glad, you were looked after. Oh boy! Going straight back to work after surgery, is a stretch. You took an non conventional way, of getting to know one another. Nice!✨✨💞💞

I have Gilbert Syndrome my eyes turn very yellow every time I am sick or catch COVID. That’s how I found out. I have a bad pancreas which I go on TPN every 2 years!

Cute story, I love when a partner steps up like that, it truly shows what kind of person they are! But can we talk about how you went back to performing surgery after an ER visit and being NPO for ~24H BECAUSE OF YOUR PAIN???? AND THAT YOUR ATTENDING HAD THE GALL (pun very much intended) TO BE UPSET?!?! It’s just more proof that we need to overhaul our mentality when it comes to residents. Coming to work so ill is not only a detriment to your health, but possibly to a patient’s, just because you weren’t infectious/contagious doesn’t mean you were any less seriously ill, and I’m sorry that you even had to go through that. When are we going to learn that the health of our residents (physically, mentally, and emotionally) directly affects the health of our patients?

I thought I had heard that word before. I remember Jum Lovell (Apollo 13) talking about it. So I checked, and he got down to the last 32, that became the Mercury 7. He was bumped because his bilirubin levels were too high.

She had cholecystitis… so I guess that’s why it had to be removed ?

@@clarishbaltazar5768 Yeah. That just would've gotten worse if they didn't remove her gallbladder. I over analyse things a lot.

So WHO is "Dr. Goobie"? Where does Dr. Grunch know him from? I can't find ANY information about him anywhere and I really don't believe he's a neurosurgeon.

So what if you've have Gilbert syndrome and never had any yellowing of the eyes or skin ? Is this possible?? The reason i ask is because i also have gilbert syndrome, so ive been told due to the high bilirubin on blood tests.
