The Westboro nuts also protest military funerals. They came locally and protested one, and a local biker group asked people to join them in a counter protest. Over 2,500 people showed up. We lined the entire venue so the soldier’s family didn’t have to see the idiots.

@@melaniejanssen6090 Yes! I couldn’t remember the group’s name! There is a law here about protestors having to be a certain distance from the venue they are protesting. But the family ‘invited’ the patriot guard riders (who went on the radio and Tv and invited anyone else willing to be a human shield), so we were able to be closer. The Westboro idiots (there were only about 20-25 of them) were on one side of the street, we were on the other.

My older son has ridden with bikers many times to protect the military families at their loved one's funeral from these poor misguided souls! AND we are REAL Bible-believing Baptists, not the Westboro kind.

My husband and I , along with hundreds of bikers, regular people, family, friends and just wonderful respectful strangers, attended a counter protest at a military funeral in Jamestown Pennsylvania a few years ago. The street was lined on both sides with watchful, silent, protective people from all walks of life. When the honor guard accompanied the soldiers’ casket down the street to the doors of the church, the only sounds heard were the cadence of the men marching solemnly alongside the casket. We were moved to tears of sorrow and pride. Westboro idiots never stood a chance against the respect an entire small town showed for such a solemn occasion. I am incredibly proud to have been invited there to do some tiny service to offset the filth that some so-called humans consider their calling.

Not a problem with the audio, there were a few minutes where it cut out during Southerner in the snow, but like someone else said, I’ve already seen it (a few dozen times) so I knew what was happening and the sound came back. The final show in this tour (DIFG) is really funny and touching. It is Chris Rupps last performance with Home Free (except for the Patron party). The story time is really funny, Tim tells the Westboro story again, and also talks about what he calls the funniest thing that has ever been said on or off stage in the context of Home Free. Worth fast forwarding to the story time just for that. Tim also “kisses a dude” to piss off Westboro at the end of the night. Love your reactions!

Oh and yes, for Southerner in the Snow, towards the end (during the tubing) the sound cut out but only when you were watching. When you would pause it and at the end, the sound came back. Hope that helps.

Apparently there were some gays in the audience, so the westboro Baptist's protested against Home Free because they were saying being gay is ok. Then in another video Tim was telling this story, and he said I'd kiss a guy to piss them off, he kissed Chris, full on the lips. It was hilarious. I can't remember what it was called but if you type in Tim kissing Chris on stage it should pop up. They'd just finished singing ring of fire. Pentatonix was also protested by the same group (due to mitch and scott being openly gay). There is a powerful video from one of PTX's concerts where you can hear the protesters yelling in the background. PTX then takes out their mics and in-ears and sings Run To You, drowning out the protestors with just their song.

Audio is pretty fine, I think. Not being a native speaker, I sometimes have to concentrate more on Tim's storytime, simply because he has such a deep voice, it's going through speakers, and recorded by a cell phone. So, sometimes, I have to pay special attention, especially when the audience is hollering. But, this is not your channel or audio quality - it's a slight problem with Tim's Storytimes. :(
