My parents took us here in the early 70s. I remember the pumpkin coach being white, wrought iron. It was horse drawn through the park with a live Cinderella. I also remember a slide coming from the second story of one of these buildings. What I remember most is getting my head stuck in the electric window of our Chrysler, in the parking lot. I just wanted to see what would happen. Put the window off the track and made my dad really mad. Thanks for the memories.

We would buy a reindeer in the gift shop every now and now again for years until we had 8. My son is now in his 30s and my daughter is 25. We now live in Florida but every Christmas we display our reindeer and talk about all the many good times we had there. HALLOWEEN and Christmas is great there too. My daughter and I always talk about getting a "North Pole" here to hug as it is so hot in Florida. THANK YOU for the trip down memory lane. You made this old chick cry. You need to go to the Cape May Zoo if you are in the area. It's amazing and free! We would also do a lot of day trips into Philadelphia to all the museums. I'm feeling really old right now.

This is a really cute and sweet little theme park, a remnant from a simpler time before places like Disney and Six Flag dominated the theme park business, and kids were entertained more easily than they are now. However, I was a bit surprised by all the Christmas stuff in the middle of summer. I guess that, at those storyland-style parks, year-round Christmas displays were probably pretty common!
