Could be a cute gift, reality is probably more like, her mom wants to break up with him but she needs to secure her college money first. There are storys where the neighbor was the babysitter for a single moms child and she tried to sue them for childsupport, because he had a kind of farther role in the childs life. We life in an evil world, dont be a naiv fool.

I have a 9 year old son with autism. I've been married to my wife for 15 years now. I get my son up every morning, get his clothes, get his breakfast, stand at the bus stop with him. I'm there every afternoon to get him. He tells me every morning when the bus comes "I love you daddy and will miss you" Even though my wife and I have our ups and downs we have stuck together and raised 4 boys. My oldest is 17 and has a scholarship to UVA. Do I want a cookie? No I don't but my #1 dad wallet I've had for years and is falling apart will never leave my back pocket. My step daughter was at a rich person's house when she was in the eighth grade with my ex wife and asked my ex wife, "mom, why couldn't you have married somebody like this?".
