The reason behind the Indian Police System being corrupt is many. It's been decades now The Indian Police System is not yet reformed. They work 12 - 15 hours a day with low basic pay. There aren't enough policemen for a daily tas, so one has to do multiple tasks. In spite of knowing all these things the government failed to provide a solution or bill. The reason is if you provide the police a good basic salary and make their life prosperous, then local leaders can't use them for their own good and can't bribe them as well, which will make them vulnerable.

@mythicalsoulz47092 жыл бұрын
It is real but not in the way you would imagine or how it has transformed into, the caste system was all about jobs initially, caste and a job were synonymous. Caste was basically a set of jobs, nothing else. But the there came the rules like son of the king becomes the king, solidifying the warrior caste into kshatriyas. All learned men became brahmin, the rule that only brahmins can read vedas meant that anyone who was learned enough to qualify, can read them, the traders became vaishyas and the shudras, unable to escape poverty became workers. As a brahmin by birth, I fundamentally oppose what the caste system had become over time but not what it was, I'll give you two examples to prove my point a king became a sage after renouncing worldly pleasures and qualified for the position of a brahmin, this king was then known as Vishwamitra, another example is one of the ancestors of Vatula gotra, who too became brahmin from kshtriya, his name isnt well known so I forgot it over time.

I am originally from India and America has been home for me for 36 years. It sickens me to tell you that in 2017 in India, men from "lower" class were getting beaten up for their mustaches. Yes, you heard it right, MUSTACHES. And because only the so called "higher" class could grow this specific type of mustache! Sheesh, it's 21st century folks, grow the heck up! I grew up in large house with a joint family in Mumbai, India. Discrimination was common and unfortunately it still is. I was maybe 13-14 years old and started to notice how my father treated poor people and his workers from his textile factories with respect and who came to him to seek for his help in desperation and how much they respected him as if he were a "god." They sat "with" my dad instead of sitting on the "floor" which would be the normal custom. I vividly remember the incident when one day, I noticed my aunt dropping money in the palms (without touching her hands) of an old lady who came to our house to clean all the toilets. Aye, she was from the "lower class" hence the money being "dropped" instead of given it to her. Some days later, my mother gave me some money to give it to the old lady as my uncle's and my family were going out. It was just me, our maid (who still after 44-46 years works for my family, refuses to work for anyone else. We all love her. Talk about loyalty). When the old lady came I told her I had the money and she held her palms together so I could drop it in her palms. I point blank refused to drop it. I was sitting at our dinning table and she waited by the toilet door. I asked her to come closer for the money. Meanwhile, the maid was making some tea. To make a very long story short, I got up and walked several feet, took her hand and she started to pull away, but I grabber her hand again and walked her to the dinning table. She was completely shocked and stunned that I touched her!! I forced her to sit at the table which literally gave her a heart attack. She sat at the edge of the chair as if the chair will become impure just cause her body touched it. Never before in her old life, had she ever sat at a dinning table and offered to drink tea (with snacks) with someone from "upper class" with rich people. The 3 of us talked and we drank the tea and she could barely stop crying. She always smiled when she saw me. She passed away several years later. It greatly saddens me to this day that the old lady and her family never got the chance to shine. The poverty and how these poor people live can make a grown man cry. Not just this old lady, but dirt poor, too many uneducated people in general. One more incident, then I will stop, I swear! My parents had travelled the world and my father would do some chores around our side of the house which was absolutely not a thing a man would do in his position. One day, early in the morning our gardener was sweeping the leaves with a broom. A couple of business men came to see my dad. They rudely asked the gardener to go fetch my dad. He dropped the broom and hurriedly went to go get my dad. A minute later, the gardener came outside and spoke in English that he was the one they were looking for. They were utterly shocked that my dad would be sweeping! 3 years ago, my mother (still alive) and father (posthumously, he died 20 years ago) were presented an award in a ceremony for their altruism. My point is, we are all humans with the same color blood that flows through our veins. You do not know what the other person is going through. It costs us nothing to say a kind word and be kind and respectful to everyone, no matter their size, looks or color. I have so much more to say and can go on and on about this stupidity and ignorance about discrimination stuff in general but......

@@endoge709 That's a horrible analogy by example. That's not how you determine a racial hate crime. What you're doing is that caste/class discrimination does not exist simply because some black people with authority exhibit abusive behavior. My goodness!

It's just utterly disgusting to see that conscience and morals become such a rare commodity that it's worth making a movie of. When in fact, we should all be like that.

Sadly this is still common in "New" India if you're poor Police can just drag you away from your home even for smallest thing, get slapped or sometimes even beaten.. if you're Elite or famous they won't bother without warrant even then they take them away with respect and won't even lay their hands on them. :'3
