Absolute rubbish! Yes, google will tell you that, but I am so allergic to dogs & cats it's put me into the ER. I bought a female maltese a couple years ago, & I have zero allergy issues w/ her. Maltese have hair rather than fur. A single coat, & they do not shed. I'm a huge believer in "hypoallergenic" now.

I’ve taken Benadryl or generic allergy relief pills a few times but most of the time I don’t need to take anything. Enjoy your new pup!

I never went to an allergy specialist and I’m still okay with the dog! I still have allergies to cats and non-hypoallergenic dogs but I haven’t had any allergies with my dog and we’ve had him for over 2 years!

@@mckennarose5458 this gives me hope as my daughter is allergic to all animals, really wants a dog but I’m scared she might get bad if I buy her one
