Funky Dineva you are dead on! I didn't want to go to the hospital either. I thought I was just out of air but my daughter demanded that I go (I was on all fours outside of the Home Depot----still fighting with her). Do you know what the doctor said it was? "PULMONARY EMBOLISM - IN BOTH LUNGS". Basically I was dying and didn't know it. After that shock ....I had another 3 hours later in ICU when the doctor said I was going to have to have surgery.....My heart was under too much pressure from the blood clot. Dear Black people.....GO to the damn doctor.

I wish ppl wouldn’t risk it. My mom (65) and grandfather (85) just got discharged last week after a 10 days in ICU due to Covid-19...it’s not a game. My moms dr quarantined her at home, but two days later on the phone with my grandfathers dr she told mom to come to the hospital bc she didn’t like how moms breathing sounded...she’d unknowingly developed pneumonia and blood clots. Dr’s had previously never mentioned the possibility of blood clots. Her recovery will take months as she still has blood clots and pneumonia. My grandfather never had issues with his lungs and in a matter 24 hours he needed to be placed on a ventilator but they chose an alternative device to assist with his breathing bc he’s 85. They said he’s a miracle story bc he shouldn’t have made it.

Eat healthy and plan for enjoying a slice of cake and other sweets. My blood sugar stays within a good range and I treat myself to something decadent every now and again. Blood pressure should be below 140/90... blood glucose should be 80-100 at most. She needs to stop playing before organs start shutting down

As serious as this is and as much as I didn’t want to laugh, you made this story so funny. When you were talking about the viewing of the body, I hollered! You know they get serious about the fune.

So you are the Mary Jane of the family too? I understand. My family drives me crazy too, with their drama and not taking care of themselves. But we cannot let them get our pressure up! Like you said, I’ll be patient with the old people and the kids. But not the young fools!

“The doctors don’t know what they are talking about” is the constant one I hear ALL the time from family members. Then when you lose weight, the first thing they say “you sick ain’t cha?” We got to do better.

My 80 y/o aunt was just diagnosed with COVID-19. It took her 7 days to get results back and she is now in ICU on a ventilator (she had a heart attack while under) It’s no joking matter. May not seem AS important until your family is hit. Protect yourself and your family (at least 3 families of hers have tested positive with mild symptoms. They likely gave it to her) Please pray for my aunt. She’s literally fighting for her life.
