I explore the Stourbridge extension canal that was built to serve mines in the kingswinford area although the canal was connected to the Stourbridge line it was independent from it . the canal opened in 1840 and it becomes abandoned in 1935 . I find some of the old remains during the video such as the lock and much more up to Bromford bridge where evidence of the canal becomes lost as it's under houses. the GWR line also runs close by the side of the canal
