Yes I understand they can be difficult to remove id suggest trying to put the whole door in a oven on a low to medium heat for about two hours and carefully remove with gloves and try then! Or soak the screws in a penetrating oil and leave overnight and try again. Or if you know anyone that owns a impact driver that might be worth a shot too. I’ve had them were iv ended up grinding the screws off and then had to re drill and thread the holes😖😖🙄🙄….. hopefully this helps, but also don’t forget that a wire dish washing scrubbing ball will clean your glass in situ! Self sufficent is the mentality to have. First time I tried I did not let the glue dry enough and the rope nearest the hinge rolled out but as you say it is a fairly easy task that should only cost you the rope, the glue and a bit of time.

I've done that job a few times for some clients. I don't know what's in that fireproof glue, but it sure as hells sticks well. They used to use asbestos rope, but these days it's made from glass fibre.

Orite mad dog not a problem with door seals done them 5 times over 5 years but never done glass any idea what size glass seal is sellor no clue its a ja032 fox hunter Chinese gineric your door looks like mine only I have 2

Ay up mate! all I can tell you is the glass is 210 x 175 x 4mm (shaped) ! For that stove! Don’t know if that helps you or not, but I’m sure if you’re to call a stove store they would be able to help you with the glass seal from these sizes? Sorry mate that’s all I can tell you mate!
