After our Fiji trip we arrived back to Samoa and straight into our usual work here on the farm. feeding pigs, water for the cows and checking up on the plantation.
It feels great to be back on home soil.
Enjoy fam!

Kia ora cuzzy... bet your happy to be home (not... lol all the mahi you have to catch up on🤭) your poaka are growing fast they love the papaya and bananas! How does that vine not smother your taro plants? It looks like it over runs your feilds which are huge by the looks! Would be great to see if were able to expand on your supply to NZ maybe even Oz? Logistically would it be an option to look into? I would certainly buy your product if it was available...especially after watching all your hard work without machines it's raw and naturally produced👌👌 I had no idea there were so many varieties of taro it would be awesome if you took us through the varieties once harvested... the differences in flesh and colour etcetera when is it planted and harvested what soil they like 👍 love your recycling processes clean and green methodology brilliant 👏 thanks for always sharing your whanau farming and kai... God bless always💛💚❤️🙏💞 p.s. hope your poaka liked the off cuts and sugar cane!

Kia ora cuz...good to see you again.. Apologies for the late response man it's been busy..but yeah I'm surprised the vine caught your attention, you're attention to detail is truly remarkable..especially given that that particular vine has been causing us so much problem for the exact reason you mentioned 😂😂..it smothers the taro..its such an aggressive vine wants it starts to spread..even using chemicals to kill only gives us a brief pause on its growth and jumps right back....I appreciate it aye, I would love to expand to nz markets but the travel time will greatly affect the quality of the taro so If I do break into the nz market with a product it will definitely be something refined or added value onto taro with a longer shelf life ...absolutely love the support fam and always great to see your comments 🥰🥰

Hi! Enjoying your content and the beautiful scenery. I have seen other pig farmers use the banana tree trunks to feed pigs. They shave it and boil it with other scraps. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing your day with us!

Yeah your right...I haven't tried that yet but definitely something worth looking into given the many banana trees we have ...great info and thanks for that...really appreciate it🥰🥰

Hope you saw my reply to your question in the podcast. Thank you so much for being a part of our aiga members ❤.but yeah we can offer tours around the farm...of course it's free for now because we don't get that many people anyway but once it does become more and more regular we would definitely have to charge a slight fee just because it's time away from other chores of the farm 🥰🥰...thank you again for supporting the channel, it means alot ❤❤
