I just installed mine and let me say I have no plans to do this again! I recommend soaking the hair in hot water with Downy fabric softener in it.

I seen a video of this girl using same hair and brush the only thing different she did a regular blow dry up and down the hair in smalll sections on high to help straighten it and then also make it easier for you to use your hands and pull the access hair at the end . Then she used the pink brush dryer and it came out so good ! She’s on here if you search crochet hair straightened she should come up with ombré hair

Funny thing is her video inspired me to try this hair style but the maintenance and texture of the hair is not for me. But I love the way it looks. Yes her videos are awesome. Really an inspiration.

I've used this hair b4 and worn this style. It is very dry especially when you use the colored hair. I blow dry it more and use the Cantu Super Shine hair Silk on it to make it more manageable and soft. It moves better like a blow out of your natural hair. Hopefully u will give try❤😊

Yup ‼I would put like a nickle size drop of the serum on the hair , brush it then used the blow dryer to get it to the straightness I wanted. I would go back in once a week to blow dry it again, and that's only because of work environment. But I 1st saw this technique on another's YT page by the name of "Rachel Reid Beauty" video titled " Bone Straight Crochets" . Just followed her technique.

It still looks good on you. Maybe add some lite heat protectant to give the hair some slip when blow drying?
