Being gay I always find straight guys hard to communicate with, for the defense they can put up against another man, for their reluctance to open up about feelings or for their agressiveness and overpowering. But you are so amazingly open-minded and honest! Also I'd say most straight guys can get very uncomfortable when they found sexualized by gay guys.. while you are super cool about it. Man this is the reason I totally fell in love with my straight bestfriend. I am a boy who is bisexual with more of a preference for guys and I know what you mean by that defense as ive seen it usually with all my guy friends. All pretty much except for my bestfriend I said. Originally I made friends with him because I thought he was so hot and I would comment on his IG posts and he seen it and liked my comments then followed me and we began to chat in the DMs. We became closer and actually met in person where we connected instantly and after that I fell madly in love with him but he had a gf already and I would be hella jealous when he was with her and expressed his love. We started getting really close and I even drew him and made him posters of him depicted as his fav anime character he loved it so much that he pinned it up on his wall he also pinned up all the letters I wrote to him telling him how much I loved and appreciated him just short of telling him my true feelings for him. He would then tell me all the things I wrote to him about me and him together for ever were so cute and comparing our relationship and friendship to his favorite anime characters who also had a fandom ship which was Gon x Killua from Hunter X Hunter. I also got him a plushie that he would snuggle with and he took a picture snuggling with it shirtless in his bed and sent it to me saying he loved it so much. Also when we met for the first time we spent the whole day together going around his town and he would drop his wallet 2-3 times and would check out my crotch area at first I didn't really notice but I did the 3rd time when he looked then complimented me on my pants and asked where I got them and I got nervous because I thought I was going to get a boner around him and didnt want him to see it lol. When he started feeling more comfortable around me he put his arm around me when we were walking which made me blush hard I wanted to put my arm around him but I got too nervous. After we spent time at a rave and got drunk he was def more touchy feely and when we were supposed to go back to the train station to leave he said we should take scooters to get back and I said I didn't have money for one and he said no problem just hop on mine. I got nervous again because that means we would have to be in close contact again and if I got a boner I didn't want it rubbing up against him. But anyways I got on the back and wrapped my arms around his waist and we rode through the city at night with all the lights feeling good and drunk and he drove really fast so I had to hold him tight and even laid my head on his back ngl it felt really romantic. After that we kept in contact and we messaged each other a lot and I continued to send him letters and gifts and he would send me gifts too from his town. Then one time I was working on an art project with friends and I did graffitti of his logo for his clothing brand on a wall in an abandoned building and he loved it so much. He saved the photo and he even told me he loved me so much but unsent the message and told me cocaine was a helluva drug which I think he said too much while under the influence and got me confused about if he liked me romantically or not. Then another thing that got me confused and mixed feelings was when he ghosted me after I wrote him a letter telling him how much I loved him and thought he was cute and he texted me back finally after a month of not talking and me telling him how sad I was. He was supposed to visit me and stay with me in my room but didn't come and he felt really bad about it and told me if I came by him I could stay with him and sleep at his house and we would do alot of things together and he told me the reason why he ghosted me was because he was having a hard time and was really confused about us but he did like me and told me not to think that he ghosted me because he didn't like me and that he doesn't really answer his phone messages he only calls. So yea ive been struggling with my feelings for him and I just want to talk to him and see how he is doing and at least be his bestfriend if we cant be together romantically one day I hope to live by him so we can spend a lot of time together. Its been super hard now because he has been so busy with his new job he doesn't answer my messages anymore and when he says we can have a call and talk to each other he sometimes forgets and never calls me and it hurts so much I just want to talk to him since I love him so much. I wish one day we can be in each others lives more. I told him that he has saved me especially since he was my only guy friend that actually talked to me about our feelings and said I was a strong person. We both have made each other feel better when talking about our feelings and venting to each other and he tells me he loves me because of it.

I've been friends with lots of straight guys, and I've found the opposite very often. I think in many cases, the fact I'm gay was like permission for the straight guys to let down those defenses, and not have to maintain this hypermasculine front because with me, it didn't matter. Some I never had attraction to, and the brotherly nature of our friendships would have made it weird to have done anything with them anyway. Some I did, and some I actually expressed it to, and the majority of the ones I did were very vocally flattered by it and said it was an ego boost. But they were usually long-standing friends and we were very comfortable with each other. I think I've found it easier to communicate with straight guys because the sexual element is removed. With an exception here and there, there was clearly no chance of a sexual aspect to the relationship, so the interactions were a bit more straightforward.

so in my group of friends, there are two of us who are gay and two of us who are straight with girlfriends s we all 4 get along and have this positive energy . we never judge each other and we have some real wild conversations. we co-exist and respect each other's sexual preferences. . we respect each other and have a lot of fun they ask us questions related to being gay and we ask them questions related to being straight and we keep our group small . and we know that there is not one thing the other would not do for each other if one of us needed anything. Don’t forget one of the most important things about sexuality: there is a difference between romantic attraction & sexual attraction. Usually sexual acts are romantic too but not all romantic acts are meant sexually! Some people do sexual acts as a form of the romantic connection with a partner and sharing such a deep bond - rather than the sexual desire for it. Of course sexuality is a spectrum that can’t be narrowed down but I believe a way to describe your sexuality would be that you are more sexually attracted to women, but are romantically attracted to all (depending on their energy) ❤️

The video was very informative. I liked the honesty and sharing between these two. I have no idea who Reno Gold is. I have never heard of him. I had to go look him up. I will say this he is very handsome on the inside. I like his smile and his way of just talking and discussing things. There is something about his demanor that is appealing.
