Can someone maybe explain to me what the significance is of WKX calling ZZS "Ah-Xu"? Like where on the spectrum of formal to informal is that? Because the way they react to that name makes me think that that is a very intimate way of calling someone. An explanation or background information would be greatly appreciated by me! Thank you! You are absolutely on the right track there. Generally if you call someone with an 'Ah' at the start of their name, it means that you are very familiar. Only close friends, family, husband/wife would do that. That's why everyone goes wild when "Ah-Xu" is used.

I think they explained this in the comments section of another video and you are exactly right - for adult men to call someone "Ah-" something nickname would imply a very close relationship, like family/sibling or significant other (wife/husband).
