I have straight hair semi-freeforms. Just reached 4 months a few days ago. Started with towel rubbing and stopped rubbing regularly at around the 2 month mark (except for after washes). My hair was around 4 inches when I started and it's grown about 1.5 - 2 inches since then. It was discouraging going into facebook groups saying that it couldn't be done with my hair and I'm more than thrilled to be proving those naysayers wrong. I'm happy with the progress I've made and the sections are great. Lots of different sizes going on. Of course there's still some loose hair, mostly at the nape of my neck, but seems like it's a non-issue. I also intentionally keep my bangs loose as well. My right side is more locked and less frizzy than my left side because it's the side I sleep on. But I've been fixing that by lightly twisting up my left side and training myself to sleep on that side. Or putting a beanie on while it's twisted during the daytime because it's beginning to get cold here. Can't wait to see what my hair looks like at 6 months, a year, and so on.

Stephoomazoo its not that it cant be done its just REALLY hard like even with kinky 4c hair it usually takes around 6-12 months and with straight hair is closer to 2+ years

Omg yesss. I literally just gave in and said "ok this is boring" and started skipping and said fuck it and was about to end it but went to see if some one felt like me. He need to get them back asap or over time this channel is going to fall. Especially since everyone here has locs and or coming here for them or because they want them. And these boring vids are too long. He talks about nothing fr fr.

ozy dreadlocks although seemingly “belong” to black people, as prophet Samson had them they’re also something that “belongs” to Vedic culture and religion who preach love for all people and healing as do all the religions and prophets of God who have lived preached, you need to open your mind man, all is love.

It's just the diameter of the curl only. How your hair feels or how silky it is doesn't matter. I'm in Japan and some Japanese have silky straight hair and others are thick and fuzzy. So hair type is only one part of the equation.

look up celtic tribe/viking braids and locs lol. white people have always historically worn them, anyone can wear them. they're protective styles that are good for anyone above a type 1 hair type. And white people lie on the spectrum of hair types like anyone else.
