The BMW S58 engine is so insanely good. 1000 HP are possible without a lot of work. And there are already ~1300 HP G80s in the USA, Germany, UK etc.

Such a great car. BMW did a great job there and the BMW S58 engine is easily one of the best of it's kind - 1000 HP are no problem (there are already 1300 HP G80s out there). Sadly because of the new EU norms the standard exhaust sounds not very nice, but you can fix that obviously - just as you did. I really like your spec. And bucket seats obviously are made for people who want a very sportive experience. BMW multi-seats are more comfy with their functionality, but bucket seats look so much better and they give you the best possible sidehold for sportive driving.

As far as modding wise, the M3 would be your better bet as far as performance wise, but if you like the styling of the C8 because of mid engine then keep the vet. If you want more luxury and more tunability, the BMW would be better for you

Man, I freakin love the g8x platform. My dream car is a g82 m4. You straight pipe that thing and it's nuts. It sounds crazy in person. The tuning capability of the cars is just amazing. Hopefully I will get one myself in the near future. I wasn't really the biggest fan of them at first but I changed my mind quickly.

I have one. High 9s all day with downpipes and a reputable custom tune on E40/50 and XHP flash. Which is what buddy said in the video. You're not buying any car stock, short of a hyper car, that's touching 9s in the quarter.

@@treehoundthe world record is around an 8.4 1/4 mile time. I’m not sure we are talking about the same car. I can send you the link of that run if you need to see it. And they do not run a 12.2 stock the run low 11s.

@@treehound not sure what 12 second 1/4 mile times you are referring to but they must be the RWD or manual version of the g80 and not the XDRIVE. X drive g80s run low 11s consistently stock. Car and driver and plenty others have tested and have videos out. I’ve also seen it in person at the track like I stated before. The only thing Ron said here was that his car would run in the 9s with downpipes, tune and E50. That is a true statement.
