Im trying to wrap my mind around geometry corrections. Have you done any videos on the subject? I'm still trying to figure out what my first timor is doing. I had a guy hone it, and it was very close to working. He got a much better polish on the apex. But that's where I'm at with it. So close to working and I'm still not sure what it needs to finish that last 10%. Thank you for your time and knowledge sir.

I did some early on with GD razors. But that’s a good idea. I may have to get one on video how I handle it. But it’s tricky and very easy to go from geometry correction to ruining a razor. I suggest buying a box of Gold Dollars and try to fix them first.

Great honing video Eric! That finisher looks awesome. So will you be going to the 8k after the 5k or will you go straight from 5 to 10? Cheers!

I have been going 5,8,10 and 5,10 for the last month. In an attempt to see if the 8k is required. My current opinion is that it’s not. I like the results from going 3,5,10k. In the near future I will either box up and store or sell my 4,6,8 & 12k stones. I just don’t use them anymore.

@@BigEShaves I am of a similar opinion when it comes to the 8k and 12k... I have to admit that I have more dislike for the 8k than I do the 12k. Great videos Eric! We got lucky to get 3 in one day :)

​​@BigEShaves I'm very fond of my 8k super white , 5k to 10k I find too big a jump ? ( also I hoard stones , as so many people regret selling their stones ,only to buy ,and revisit them again ).
