I agree. Not EVERYONE in a uniform is a "hero" now I'm not saying we shouldn't respect our troops BUT a desk jockey isn't a hero..... NOW a desk rider who has lost limbs takin care of business and is humble about it..... That's a hero

Hey, I'm sitting here in Emmendingen, Germany right now and came across this vid because I miss packing hammers back in the states. I really enjoyed your analysis of the German vocational system. It was spot on. When were u in Germany and how come? I'm here with a vocational exchange program so I'd be interested to hear ur experiences.

Hey! Thanks for the kind words. I was in Berlin and Koln last year, around this time, just for traveling and Carnival at the end of the month before heading back to The Netherlands. Had a great time in Germany and can't wait to make it back. An increasing number of my business courses here in the States are looking at the German economic model more closely, so I've spent a lot of time lately studying Mittelstand firms, German SME's, and the socioeconomic models of continental Europe (along with the Nordic, Mediterranean, and Anglo-Saxon models).

Hey man, is USC harder to get into undergrad for business or are all the programs equal, thanks
@hrfalcons2210 жыл бұрын
Whaddup man, you actually have to take a few prerequisite business courses to then be eligible for admission into the business school and they're honestly not overwhelmingly difficult classes if you put in the hours. The International Business program is another story, since they limit enrollment to 100-120 students per year. Our Nursing, Journalism, Pharmacy, and Supply Chain programs are pretty competitive too, but as far as just the business school itself, you just need to maintain like a 3.0 GPA in all your pre-business courses (Economics, Accounting, Business Calc, Stats,etc).

Drew, you have a lot of great points here, but these Straight Shooting videos do indeed run too long! A minute shy of half an hour, and that frozen scene at about twenty two minutes of you when you swallowed some dip? Haha, that happens once in a while to the best of us, but, for me anyways, it usually isn't really a big deal, I can get over it with minimal fuss! I really do enjoy these, but have to find the time to watch and really get everything that you are saying.

Chris Kyle was a hero. That being said, he did lie about some things. I'm sure he just did it to sell books though, I mean so many "true stories" aren't completely true, but that doesn't mean he didn't accomplish anything or wasn't a true patriot. We know he didn't shoot any looters, and we know that whole Jessy Ventura thing was bullshit, it still doesn't take away what he did accomplish or his service that I'm thankful for. Obviously he was flawed, but who isn't? In my book, he was a hero, one that just made some mistakes. that being said, you always make solid videos Drew, and I'm a huge fan, and I know you're just stating that facts.
