Great video. I would love to see more videos on this. Maybe how this is done in other time signatures…. 3/4, 6/8, 5/4 etc… and how the other instruments work together.

Great video. Is it true for a triplet (swung) groove, you would have most notes on the digit and let, and use notes on the trip only when necessary?

Can you make the video on using the eastern instruments in Logic Pro ???

A+ on the video. In my recording process, I usually record guitar or keys 1st to a straight feel click track than drums. Is there a click or count that would mimic a swing or triplet groove?

Could you please be so kind to tell me how you get that window? How do get the logic stack to look like that?
@MusicTechHelpGuy Жыл бұрын
The step sequencer? Or the piano roll. For the step sequencer, you right-click or control-click and create a new pattern region on a track. Then just double click to open the step sequencer. If you don't have the step sequencer or pattern regions, you may need to update Logic. The step sequencer came out with 10.5 a few years back. For the piano roll editor, just select any MIDI region, and press P on your keyboard, or press Command 4 to open in a separate window. Hope that helps!

Enjoyed the Video. Does that mean that i cannot make only the Hihats groove? With rhe Swing also the other DrumKit Instruments in the Song will eventually be swung?
@MusicTechHelpGuy Жыл бұрын
If you're going to swing the hi-hats, you typically want to swing other elements of the beat as well. They don't have to line up perfectly, but if you have a straight 8th kick, with a sung 8th hi hat, the groove will usually seem "off".
