Thank you for taking the time to document your skill and expertise for us laymen out here! I am always grateful when masters of a trade are willing to pass their workmanship to others. Thank you again!

I'm going pretend I get it, but I don't! It's OK though, at 72 I don't think it's something I would gear up to do. Thank You for showing, I learned enough to know you have a talent it took awhile to master. Enjoyed the video.

Excellent video, thank you for posting it! I have watched them all and learnt much. Particularly enjoyed the series on horizontal boring! Looks a super workshop. Best regards, Simon.

Great video! I have a 30" long solid shaft 1.2" diameter. It is D2 Tool Steel hardened to 60 HRC. It is 0.023" on the dial out of round. Can I staighten it using this method?? Will it crack? Thanks!

At 60Rc IME, you’re not going to have any luck as yeild/break are pretty much the same value. You may get a heat treater to try and help you with it (bending hot), but I wouldn’t be surprised if they declined. Thanks again, Matt
