No, I usually put heat protectant but it was at my mom's house. Before straightening my hair I made sure to add the heat protectant (after picking it up from my mom's house).

I am newly subscribed 🥰❤️😍, I have a question, I’ve twisted my hair for almost a year now and never got dandruff my hair always seems to be clean. But almost over night I could see flakes from in neither twists. I took my hair down shampooed it for almost an hour and the flakes almost gunk like and they smell are still there. I eat healthy I eat a mango a day and that’s not an exaggeration, I only use oils so it couldn’t be product build up. My hair is almost bra length and I’ve noticed the flake/ gunk for 2 days as you can see I pay close attention to my crown and it’s making me sad. Please help

When I was having issues with my scalp what helped me was using a shampoo with Zinc (Head & Shoulders) and making sure that my scalp had a chance to dry. Im not if that's helpful but you might want to get a professionals opinion.
