I just bought the magnaflow 12589 muffler for my truck that I will be putting headers on. What is the difference of the one I bought and the 12289 muffler when it comes to size or should I have gone with 12289? Please let me know so I can return and get the right ones

I own a 2016 KIA Forte LX Sedan with a 1.8L It has a Magnaflow Muffler part number 11226 with a resonated muffler tip. So far I love it and it doesn’t sound like the civics were it’s too obnoxious. I have a video on my channel and you’ll be able to hear it when I turn on my vehicle during cold start. Again I love it and I love the way it sounds. Very low sound on idle until you step on it good and you’ll hear it. It’s not too loud but also not quiet either. It has a nice deep clean tone.

My advice would be to go against whatever is the most liked . Just to sound different , all applications. Ask whats the most popular and go the opposite direction.

I have a pair of magnapacks 3" core 4" outercore with a X pipe on my 04 dodge ram 5.7 hemi bought them back n 09 love the sound of magnaflow

3x3 14 inch is so nice imho. Works good on a 5.3 or 6.2. I bet its good on everything.

Currently have a 2.5” Borla S Type on my Tacoma with a URD Y Pipe 3”, S&B CAI and Intake Manifold spacer. Will love the have a bit more sound. Any recommendations? Thanks
