I like that it's expensive though. On the last game it was too easy to max cars out, which makes the game get boring really fast. We need something to work for, an incentive to play the game ya know? I was hoping they increased the prices on things. Not to a GTA level, but to a level that makes you play the game.

kaspar technically. there's a tuneup shop in the game that refreshes every 10 mins with new parts. these parts are completely random and you have 2 be REALLY luck to get what you're looking 4

in the beginning you pull off a big heist of trying to steal a Regera with prototype upgrade so Rav can look at them, and than you get betrayed by one of your crew members who were working for the house, her name is Lina Navarro. and with her betraying you and Rav being shot you go to draw the cops away as tyler. and you get cornered in an alley way where Marcus Weir "The Gambler" the guy you stole the car from encounters you where he asks where the car is, tyler explains that Lina played them both and took it for the house, where Marcus decides to work out a deal with Tyler where he cant race until Marcus says. 6 months later and Tyler now a Valet still has not raced, but got pressured to do so by one of his work colleagues. this during the pressuring Tyler finds out that the house pays people to throw races so the house can gain more and more money. Tyler decided to unrig a race and win it instead of throwing it, Lina than sends the thugs after Tyler as the race that Ty won lost the house a lot of money. Ty escapes the thugs and meets with Marcus because Marcus has an idea to take down the house, and Lina. where Ty initially declines the offer, Ty than goes home to think things over, but before he gets in the door a bomb goes off inside his house, he lives and than gets on the phone with Marcus saying "lets do this" Ty is now tasked with getting his crew to get back together, Mac joins with no questions asked, where Jess is reluctant and skeptical even after agreeing to do the job. now with Tys crew back together Ty starts competing with the local street leagues around the airfield in order to get into the Outlaws rush, the biggest race in the country to make sure the house does not rig it so he can save the streets from corruption.

One thing NFS usually got right was performance modification. They understood the tuner aspect of the automotive culture. They had reputable brands and transparently shows how the more expensive part affected your car. This new system is a hit AND miss. I see the “gambling” aspect they wanted to go for me damn, it’s just so painstakingly annoying to not be able to tune your car for specifically what the build is intended for. IE: acceleration but exhaust and transmission mods for drag and drift builds. ECU and head mod for speed and runner builds. Suspension for off road build. If they had made the focus of the build type you have when modding the performance aspects, they would have stay grounded and I bet would have had more people happy with this game. NFS 2015 perf. modding but with build specific advantages. How easy would that have been?

Here’s my issue with why I might not buy the game, how much can you upgrade a vehicle? If my car has 300hp stock what’s the max possible? 400? 500? 600? 1000? From what iv seen it’s barely anything above stock and you have to buy better cars. Meaning there’s no actually building of vehicles

psysesto25 some cars max out at a certain card level, you need a car that has a higher top number. For example, your car probably has a top number of 299, get a car that has a top of 399 to get better parts

+HCoreSoldierKili I think it's a mistake. It's so far from how you actually would mod a car. If I wanted an RPG system to a game with random rolls and all I would play Destiny or AC Origins or something. 2015 was better with how they did the parts but that should've been improved to be more like engine swaps and showing in game what you are changing and then making those parts more expensive as you go along. Not changing just a few of the car parts. And what if I wanted a supercharger on a car instead of a turbo? Not a thing in this game. I think they have done great with all except the performance. I get that it works and I get that it's balanced, but it's not as fun to me. No one changes their engine head 80 times before they are happy with it. And apparently no one in this game upgrades their transmission, intercoolers, and many other parts that are missing like dif and brakes (super important by the way). It makes me feel like I'm working less on a car and just being mindless

my trial just ended and i have all the customization unlocked except difusers, tires and break calipers which im happy with because when i get back on the game on the 7th and get the 5 cars and shipments ill be able to mod them and make them look awsome as soon as i start, plus ive betten the 79 roaming racer boss which is good, you dont get anything special from beating the boss which sucks but now you know. Oh! and dont pick the fucken rang rover truck for mac as an of road vechial, it sucks ass, and i wouldnt sujest picking the golf as a first car either, because its front wheel drive and is completly shit offroad

Yes it is, and I know that! :P I just mean it snaps left to right more than the others I've used, to the point where it's super hard to go straight. And when I'm in an off road race I have to stay on the dirt tracks or I get huge slowdown, even if I'm only slightly off the track, which feels a bit odd, almost like old forza sticky grass.

Jesse Crafford 3x bonus gives you a bonus of almost one speed card worth of perks that the card set gives you and 6x bonus gives you a perk bonus for that cad set of 2.5 speedcards
