I'm glad you took the time to update us! I missed seeing you and your videos! I want to support you as much as possible - missed the shop update but I bought something! Yay! I'm sorry about all the health problems going on with your family. I totally can relate - my father was ill for six months last year before he passed and I was his primary caregiver. It was a difficult experience, but amazing how we make it through. Knitting brings us solace too. Keeping busy and reaching out to friends helps as well. Take care!

Prayers to you and your family. I can't begin to imagine going through what you are without any siblings. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer 4 years ago. I have been lucky to only live an hour and a half from where I grew up. Stay strong and spend as much time with them as you can.

That you can even put a complete sentence together is both appreciated and impressive. What a roller coaster of yin and yang. Loved seeing you again! So sorry life is hitting so hard right now. Very happy you have your surgery date set! I hope all goes well. Can’t wait to hear how happy you are with it. My oldest child is working full time saving up for his top surgery…it’s taking longer than he’d hoped, but he’s getting there. I’m also helping my second oldest jump through all the hoops to get hormone therapy, but that’s also taking longer than she had hoped for…soon…fingers crossed. Just glad the two younger ones are old enough to understand and be supportive of their older siblings essentially trading places gender-wise and very glad that eventually the older two will be happy and more comfortable in their bodies. I just want all my kids to be happy and healthy. My oldest occasionally watches your podcast with me so he’ll be excited to hear about your surgery date, too! I’d be happy to crochet samples for you if you’d like. I have almost 35 years experience in very advanced crochet so I work really fast. There are some great crochet shawl patterns that show off hand dyed yarn beautifully, too. I did some samples for the Toad Hollow ladies before. I love seeing what your working on and am so happy you finally got your studio. Good luck getting it set up how you want! Sending positive vibes your way for you and your parents!

Ohhh dearest Jude it never rains but it pours. Sad to say my I lost my Mum to Pancreatic cancer 40 years ago. I hope the care is better now even in a palliative way than it was then. My heart goes out to your Mum and Dad and you. So many people are finding life difficult and are looking back at staying home during the Pandemic with peaceful thoughts. Hello Jude. You have been missed. Your news regarding your parents hit me ~ but it was the news about your cat that sent me into tears. I can’t imagine how strong you seem to be. Hugs to you and your parents ❤️ A few other less serious comments regarding your video- 1) your hair looks great! I didn’t notice your complexion until you mentioned i. Actually you’re looking great. Keep it up! 2) Regular fires inside will help to remove house damp! So you’ll have an additional reason to not use gas/oil. Here in Colorado- I’m hoping that someday we can get solar good enough to heat the house. 3) your knitting wips are so coordinated! I recently purchased a few skeins of that teal type yarn (favorite ice cream and yesterday’s bouquet) so I was interested in your choice of patterns. Thanks for the update.

So sorry to hear about your Mum and Dad being ill , it was one of the hardest times of my life when my parents were very sick. We have a small family as well which was lonely and stressful, thank heavens for my online friends who were there for me in the evenings as I got home from hospital, mornings to cheerily send me off and said prayers to help us all . They helped me be able to support my parents without constantly breaking down in tears . Hang in there, I’ll be saying prayers and thinking of positive outcomes for you all.🥰🙋🏼‍♀️

I knew you had family issues, and I didn't really expect a hurried delivery. Congrats on your top surgery! As someone who just had a mastectomy I highly recommend getting heart shaped pillows to put under your arms for sleeping! I think there are patterns to make them too
