I experienced the strange life of locals while staying with them in Freetown, Sierra Leone in West Africa. I reached Sierra Leone from Guinea Conakry by Overloaded Public Car and got harassed by Guinea Immigration officers.

Again you wont face communicative problem in this country. Freetown though a town very much looks like a village up the hills. Its unfortunate that a country with so many gold and diamond mines has so many poor people. Nice to see Abdulla's family members. Nice to know he knows much about our country's history. The buses look like vans. Saw the typical life food culture lifestyle of a new country in West Africa. Came to know about its history from the vlog. You are a braveheart by not giving any money at border without a reason. People are friendly over tbere. I dont understand Hindi but the chap is very light hearted and easy going. They must have really enjoyed his stay. Sadly Sierra Leone experienced one of the most brutal wars you could imagine back in the 90s . Its good to see the population recovering but I could see hardship on the face of the lady with the baby. She is probably only about 35/40 years old but looks 60.

Seeing your travel video after a long time.Yes there was lot of civil war in the 90s, in Sierra Leone, Rwanda etc. Cassava or Tapioca is grown is in Kerala too in India.

Thank you Thorvashu. We are able to look the African countries and it's people through your vedios. I have also watched many African travel documentaries. I read at somewhere that Africa never needs charity but it needs good leadership. Inspite of having enormous natural resources the people of Africa are living in such poverty because their leaders are exploiting them. Many African countries are either islamic dominated or Christianity dominated. I think the leaders of African countries never read Qur'an or Bible. If they have read those religious books the condition of African people should not be like this. The problem of African countries is corrupt leaders and failure of administrative system. Whenever I saw African travel documentaries my eyes are filled with tears. My humble prayer to God almighty to help those extremely poor people of African countries and provide them abundance and a bright future.

Enjoyed the vlog Tourvashu! Nice to see the local lifestyle in Sierra Leone. Just 3 days back I watched the movie Blood Diamond, again. It's a very disturbing and sad film. Sierra Leone has witnessed such a violent and brutal civil war during the 90's. Glad everything ended, and peace has returned. I love to meet people and couchsurfing is the thing for me! Eager to see more! By the way, do you have plans to visit Tunisia?

Since Tourvashu has already visited Two - Out of Five Maghreb Countries i.e.- Morocco and Mauritania So ,there shouldn't be Discrimination with Algeria and Libya !! But it's Okay - that instead of above-mentioned countries - You have Preferred -South American Countries - Always Fascinating and Mysterious - Wish - Tourvashu would pay Attention to your Request 🙏

It would otherwise end up like Bamako, Mali wherein he was confined to just a part of the city. There isn't any fun in that travel. Algeria should be ok. I love South America and I have been to Argentina. I want Tourvashu to do a trip of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru/Uruguay.
