I've heard these sounds myself and so has my son. They go on for hours late at night. They are definitely coming from the sky and in fact from the same spot. The sky actually turned a deep crimson red at one point, close to midnight. There was no storm. The sound sometimes abruptly stops then continues on again a few minutes later. I have heard this in the North West of the UK several times over the last few years.

At 2:20 to 2:29, the woman scientist MENTIONS A VIDEO with animals and a man reacting to the loud sounds in the sky. She says that the way the animals are reacting its real. Some years ago, I SAW THAT VIDEO. Now, without explanation....YOU CANNOT find that video. Google took it down.

@@jaylenhabtom7403 perhaps. OUTSIDE youtube. there are actually websites and other platforms that might have it, like TWITCH and Amazon videos and personal websites. Usually UFO or conspiracy sites who don't realize that those vids are not about UFOs but real phenomenas

I heard these for real in 2012 Dec in Berkshire in the UK. It went on throughout the evening. Most of the videos I've heard are pretty much spot on with what I heard along with my partner. Some videos might be fake but the sound isn't.

heard it for two weeks, a couple of hourss a day, one or two hours at late night, when I temporarily was in the Virginia area. Came from the sky, not the ground. Was not booming. It sounded like wooden or "goat" horns. sounded a lot like the Fallout 4 RPG's sounds comeing from Boston's damaged and abandoned steel turnpike/interstate highways that swing and sway in the radioactive dusty wind. If you have played that game, you know what I am talking about.

I heard them in North Bay, ON 10 yrs ago. Scared the crap outta me. It sounded exactly like the whale probe from Star Trek IV. No joke. There is a captured video on KZbin of the sound from the day, labeled Strange Sounds North Bay. I've never heard it before or again. Definitely requires scientific investigation and is not a hoax.

I don’t know if any PA-system capable of moving this much sound. I’m not saying it’s an “inhuman” sound, but it’s beyond our public capacity to re-produce. If it’s a hoax, it’s very sophisticated and expensive.

It baffles me that there are so many wacky and overly complicated and far-fetched explanations for this phenomenon, even from scientists! But the answer seems pretty obvious to me. It sounds like groaning metal, so the answer is most likely: It is! Often the answer is something terribly mundane and boring. Buildings in cities can sometimes act like an echo chamber, amplifying and distorting sounds from miles away. So if there is a construction site with some cranes nearby, that is probably where the sounds are coming from.
