This is beautiful. The fact that I hear no animals gives it such an eerie feeling seeing as a quiet forest usually means there's something dangerous lurking about. I'll just tell myself they're taking shelter from the weather. Edit for those wondering where the animals are, there begins some animal sound around 56:40.

Yep. Here in Slovakia, we have a few forests with a not very positive past. Some have a very special atmosphere at night where no animal can be heard, basically nothing. Even air feels heavier. Capturing this atmosphere is really hard, but I believe that one day I will figure it out how to do it. It's scary but a very unique experience

@@SilentFieldSK Big difference from here in the South East US. Long and hot summers and the forest constantly reminding you that others have taken up residence before you. I love this eerie feel though, only one other experience comes close to this video and that's walking through the forest in the game Chordosis. Very chilling but very soothing.

Yes, I record all the sounds by myself. I would like to publish more videos more often, but it is quite time-consuming to gather all those ambiences, especially quiet ones. To find a place with total silence, without any disturbances such as cars in distance, planes, etc. is REALLY hard in these days. And not all my expeditions are always successful. But I already have my "secret" places in case that new ones are unsuccessful :) Thank you for your kind words!
