Mind your surroundings. If birds go quiet, be on alert. If you have pets with you ( dog, cat etc.) and they suddenly stiffen up, lift their ears, stare in one direction and make noises from down in their throat that is a predatory fight/flight reaction. Be alert.

If you are outside and birds go quiet, get your ass inside and stay alert. If you have house pets, and they stiffen up, point themselves in a specific direction, and start growling, stay on high alert. By any means, keep a weapon on you just in case. I am Japanese, and I have heard this very same voice when I was canoeing down the Big Salmon River, a tributary of the Yukon River, nearly 30 years ago. I was traveling with a famous Japanese outdoor writer, and a Canadian guide based in Whitehorse was escorting us on the trip. We arrived at our campsite a few days after our departure, and it was still light out, when we heard this very same voice coming from deep in the woods. 'What voice is that?' I asked Scott, our guide, and he replied, "It's a wolf. A very old one.” Wolves have been extinct in Japan for more than 100 years, so this was the first time I had heard a wolf's voice live, and I remember that it was completely different from the howls I had heard in animal documentaries. Listening to it again, it seems to me that it sounds more like the voice of a primate than a wolf. It will be very interesting to find out what it really is.

It was huge and it’s growl was like that of a large male lion with that deep base sound growl but twice as loud ,whatever it was it sounded like it was right along side my window that was over eight feet high. I'm native american from Canada. My late grandfather was a medicine man. He's had an experience that was shared with me. His account was in the 70s mind you. He was near lake Manitoba, he heard this aswell. More violent sounding than this video though. In this video here, it to me sounds like this creature making this sound. Is grieving, crying, or whining. Clearly, it's not human. But it has the lung capacity of a giant ape. Even larger. If you hear these things in the woods near your house, it only means they're there. My grandfather was under the impression that his presence was making the Säbé (sasquatch or bigfoot) upset. Also some could just be passing through with their families as they migrate with seasonal flowers fruits and vegetables. Theyre smart beings with human tendencies that even surpass our own in ways. Depending on the situation, don't fear them. The ones to fear are the "enemies" of the sasquatch and that are the "Dogmen" or "werewolves". Those that rip human and young sasquatch apart.. Dogmen Howl.. sasquatch can mimic just about anything in the woods aswell. Whether it be coyote, owl, songbirds, dogs, squirrel and even human babies. No joke. I hope this long comment helps you. 🙏🏽

I showed this to my father because it reminded me of a story he told me; When he was younger he went camping with my mother (she was pregnant with me at the time) and with my then 1 year old sister. He says that, among other things, each of the nights they camped in that place they would hear a human-beast scream, mind that my father is not skeptical but neither afraid of everything he sees in the wild, he knows there's animals that make some weird noises, but we are from Uruguay, and the wildest thing we have here are some species of foxes. The scream would sound closer each night, until the last night, in which my father woke up at like 2 a.m. to see my mother scared shitless in a corner of the tent, she didn't calmed down until dawn, she told him that past midnight, she woke up to the sound of footsteps around the tent, when the footsteps stopped she heard the scream, but this time was outside the tent, that really scarred her for life and i never asked her about it, it was my father who told me this story, and when i showed this video to him, he told me this sounded almost exactly.

@@bruhhbrahh yeah he told me a couple of other weird encounters, he used to work in Brazil as a cattle guard as cattle raiding is common up there, there are howler monkeys there, those fuckers would do this blood curling screams each time he went near them without noticing. One night he was doing some rounds at night, on horseback, shotgun in hand and 7 dogs with him, these dogs are not your usual house dogs, these beasts were used to guard cattle from armed people so you can imagine pretty vicious dogs. After half an hour or so into his trip the horse started to act weird, started to get nervous, then the dogs did, they start to bark aggressively all at the same time, then run into the woods at one side of the field, my father tries to lead the horse there but it was too nervous and wouldn't even get close. After a minute or so of hearing barking from inside the forest he started to hear the dogs crying, and then all of the 7 dogs got the hell out of there back into the ranch, the horse started to run with the dogs and when my father looked back he saw this giant figure, the size of 3 cows, completely black go out of the woods where the dogs went, he told me it was really fast for something that size. He knows the fauna there, it was not a cow, it was not a monkey, til this day he does not know what he'd seen.

@@kenesys8713 Cryptids are a big thing here in south america, so much that you begin to cuestion if these things are just some urban legend or an actual creature, but even if I wanted to investigate, which I always wanted to, most of the places you would encounter these things are private property now, if you put a foot on those fields people will probably shoot at you or at least come with trucks and dogs to scare you off. This applies for almost every south american country, but not so much here in Uruguay, there's of course nature reserves that you can go to, and i have, i've seen what people call here "el lobizon", just a dumb name for a werewolf, or at least i think that's what i saw? a dog running in two legs, i'm not talking about your usual cliche werewolf, it was a dog, running in two legs, it looked so wrong. This is why you don't want to delve too much into it, there's lots of witches and dark stuff down here that could actually get you in trouble, i'm not talking about demons or shit but this kind of people who have this kind of knowledge will bring darkness into your life; illness, death, unemployment, etc. You really don't want to fuck with these... people? I'm kinda skeptical tbh but i've lived and seen stuff that defied what i believed in, after my father's story for example, the one about the screams, he's so sure some witch or bad entity cursed them in that camping trip, as stuff from there went downhill; i was born with a pretty fucked disease (hirschsprung syndrome), my parents splitted up after that, my dad went unemployed for several years and my mother turned into a drug addict. This is why if you want to investigate about south american cryptids, you should be really careful who you talk to. Again there's a lot to write if you want i could make a reddit post somewhere or idk. Might make a video talking about this stuff actually, there's not many videos in english talking about south american cryptids and urban legends

When I was younger and in Scouts we went camping at one of our camps in Southwestern Ontario (near Pinery Provincial Park). We were sitting around a fire when all of a sudden we heard a series of really loud Knocks, then a couple of deer went bolting by us. Next thing you know we start hearing really loud scream/moans like this. At one point on the second night it really did sound like it was starting to get closer to us. But we never noticed anything out of place in our camp the next morning. But it was heard every night we were there. Even heard it again years later when I went camping at the Pinery itself. I still say it was a Sasquatch myself.

I appreciate you acknowledging these sounds are indeed strange but not immediately attributing them to bigfoot or skinwalkers, neither of which are real. People are too quick to assign blame to the mythological instead of admitting they just don't know what's making the odd noise

I have heard that same scream in Oregon in the pacific northwest when I and my Father were hunting back in 2010 in November my Father believed in Bigfoot and that scream scared off all the wildlife and it was deadly silent except for that scream it lasted about 10 minutes and my dad said it was time to go...it was insanely loud what ever it was it was very large

This is sachigo Lake Ontario. A reservation near my own reservation. Those things you hear them in the woods, sometimes you see things bad spirits. Lots of gnarly stuff goes on around here, you have the Native American folklore, personally I’ve experienced some stuff. The elders see bad things. I’ve heard a lot of things that have through my reservation, such as a giant white bird, black figures, and a lake monster, ghosts at the school, my uncle said he’s seen Bigfoot, it’s a spiritual being Bigfoot. There was a story of 2 kids who drowned because of a lake monster knocked them out of the boat they were fishing with family. Maybe a 5 feet sturgeon idk or snakes that they say were in the lake somewhere.
