What's the coolest/weirdest/wildest piece of gear you tried this year?

Luminite Graviton M1 with 10 switch wireless foot switch and two on-guitar wireless controllers. For computer based rigs it's insane. Can't recommend enough.

For me the most stookiest gear I have (that arrive today) is the MOOV guitar

NUX Atlantic delay/reverb pedal! It's so bloody simple, in a good way, no complicated menus or sub-menus....! Sometimes less is more!🙂

Got a Dean Zelinsky custom paisley Strat. He laser engraves the paisley patern into the body. The Z glide neck is lasered as well to feel like an engraved pool cue. HSH with his "all the tone in the world" wiring. 5 way switch and push pull pots for coil splitting and going out of phase. The wiring and pups are amazing, 18 different voices and no volume drop splitting coils.

The blue bugger sounded a bit fun for sure....can't go wrong with a breather.

Boss Katana GO. Great little gadget, with awesome sounds in there. Made my multi thousand dollar rig sit idle for a while.

That Gloam is filthy. Damn!😊

I always sell myself on "the importance of wood tones" in guitar manufacturing; then I see Leon Todd playing the left over remnant of a Holden FX and think ... I guess not.

6:52 You can shred your ass off on stage by night, and work at the butcher shop by day with that thing.

I did play a Gibson Les Paul jr last time I was at my local store, and also a Les Paul copy buy a brand called Jet, both very fun to play but both felt vastly different from each other.

The Gloam just screams let’s smoke up, play guitar and space out on black light posters in the basement. 😂

Awesome! So much guitar for the money. How's the 1959SLP?

@@LeonTodd totally.. the jmp is mint ! i didnt end up sending it to jason as he couldnt quite do what i wanted. (didnt want the channels internally jumpered as i really like the normal channel) so i added a jose style master volume and grabbed a centavo pedal while i was waiting for a mr scary mod to arrive for it.. but i think i like the centavo better 😅 if you want to give it a rip.. with pedal and/or mr scary just let me know and ill bring it home for ya 👍

Headless guitar for less than $500 AUD? That's around $320 USD. No need to pick up that dodgy Steinberger Spirit I was eyeing...

Not sure what shipping would be but still, so much guitar for the money!

@@LeonTodd Sounds like a great way into 8 string guitars for the first time. I'd like to try them with a high A string instead of a low F# since I think a tuning that low competes too much with the bass and kick and sweeps with a high A sound pretty wicked (at least when Rusty Cooley does them). Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Here's to diversity. So much fun stuff there, but I have to give the nod to the Gloam. Rampaging animal tones in that thing.
