Hi folks,
So station trading, station trading is a great way to make ISK and if done right can net you untold billions. However if done wrong you can end up loosing billions so approaching it in the right way is important. Station trading is scalable and you can pretty much start with any size bank roll and build from it.

For this type of station trading you need a big amount of isk to start, but when you will have no problems from the point, when you have the first incomes. That Caracal skin looks nice, would be good to have one. IGN: Kirio Ohaya

Doing all of the career missions and maybe 1 day mining hisec (I know) while paying half attention and doing Project Discovery. So in 2 -3 days time have 20 million Isk to start trading plus a hauler from the career missions.

good video thanks. I watched with interest as you dumped 195 medium Shield extender II's onto the market. No real problem for that particular item, as the volumes traded each day can take it, but I've lost count of the times that I seen prices crash for an item because someone has seen that there's a decent profit to be had and promptly dumps 50 units onto the market. Peoplw don't seem to take into account that those 50 units could well represent 3 months worth of demand, and all it does is prompt other sellers to undercut you. I seldom see video's talk about volumes of units and how its important to check the normal levels of demand before placing items up for sale. The last thing any seller wants to see is his sell order undercut by 20 smaller ones, and the price nosedive, al because they've flooded a small (but profitable) market with too many units.

One trick I use is to dump around 10 on the market and undercut the others by a couple thousand. See if they make same cuts and how quick. Then do it again. Get them to go so low they are say 75% closer to the buy order then when I started. If they followed that far then buy up all the inventory and set a price say twice as high as when you first started.

Liked the info, definitely was cool and convinced me to reenter the market. I have noticed entry level implants are good starting grounds. Large margins, and low cost. Great grounds to learn at before entering into millions per item

I agree the snowball effect with station trading is very real. With a maxed out trading account, you can have 305 orders open on just one character. So even in one of the smaller markets like rens, hek or one of the trade stations in Everyshore or Genesis you can still make billions per month and you don't have to update your orders more than once every other day. 305 orders are basically around 150 active buy orders and 150 active sell orders selling those same items you're buying back to the market. So if the margin is just 1 million and you can flip 1 unit per day per item which is not a lot. You're making 150 million isk per day. passive. If you take that same formula to a competitive market like jita and update your orders 2 times per day you could be looking at 5-10 flips per order per day with a 1 million isk margin which will mean 750 million to 1.5 billion per day. Updating 150 orders only take 15-20 minutes if you do it through the Quickbar so the isk per our there is pretty good :)

you can also day trade the filemants quite well, as often you have a 20% to 30% margin directly from buy to sell prices, for a low budget character, buy 10 or 20 of them and sell immediately.
