As a Combat vet and wounded Vet this track explains whit it is like on a daily basis for a lot of us. There are not very many people that understand what goes through our head. This track is almost dead on. I have heard a lot of people say just go get help , however it is not as easy as that. The way we were trained makes it to where we just bottle it up and keep it there so we can finish the mission. I would like to thank you Tech N9ne for this track and you to Jay Trilogy, this track say's so much about the actual problem. I have always been a Fan of your music and now even more.

FWIW, not a vet but I've been through shit: Philosophy is great. There are some excellent people out there who have tried making eastern philosophy more accessible to westerners, Alan Watts comes to mind. Though western philosophy is also good, Stirner/Nietzsche/Descartes come to mind. That and, with intelligent and planned use, healing use of psychedelics like magic mushrooms or LSD can do wonders for a wounded soul. PTSD leaves physical scarring on the brain, but LSD helps the parts of your brain talk to each other, so it can help overcome this physical problem. (Literally, the scar tissue is a barrier to the neurons wiring together to communicate, your internal telecommunications infrastructure is down so to speak). "I only can see this world from the inside", like Krizz says in the hook... The way you see things is the way they are (your reality is not my reality is not their reality, in other words), so nobody can directly help. The only way to help is to help yourself. I think both studying several teachers in philosophy and the above mentioned drugs can help with developing that internal understanding, though. With the internet, you can look up real quick if someone sounds like they know their shit or not... In my opinion the real smart people are before the 1900s, but feel free to ignore me cuz I don't know shit. And also for what it's worth, thanks for your service and I hope for the best in whatever your journey is.

PTSD is a monster of its own breed, I have it and so does my brother, we have it from different and some simmilar things, I showed him this and it helped him a bit to have relateable music, everyone out there battling your demons just remember to take a moment to breathe, you survived and you are here now, everyday behind us is a win.

I was about to SAY. DAMN. I think he's just some random kid who submitted a verse for a contest judging by the description and if so, I can see why Tech picked him. That's some raw fucking talent in a way I haven't heard since Tech himself. Great rappers haven't gotten real in decades. Good rappers have, but no one at the technical level this dude has. I hope when I go to his channel, it's all like this.

First off all sorry to say this but PTSD is a mental illness in which will only develop Post trauma ( ptsd=Post traumatic stress disorder) so yall chatting shit when yall say u born wit it. I know this because I genuinely and honestly have it myself, just saying no beef, And how can u have been a soldier your whole life if you've only been in the army for two year's? If you are in the army I thank you for what you done but the maths would only track if you're two years old... Shit you're two years old ain't ya?

[Intro: Tech N9ne] Uh-huh , Yup, O-K. Whatever Don't try to talk to me like you know what this is Yeah, I know I might have symptoms that are familiar to you, but.. I got this Thanks anyway.. [Hook: Krizz Kaliko] Don't let this eat me alive I only can see this world from the inside And I'm holding it inside Feel like I can cock it back and let it go And nothing's making sense And I have no patience for anything So I'm going on everything Somebody get me out of here [Verse 1: Tech N9ne] You don't see what I see So how the hell you gonna stop these voices In my head, that got me awfully rocky, do you copy? Traumatized much, from homicide, what? Don't wanna flip, but mama I must be the one that I trust I ain't got no friend, I ain't got no grin But I'm macho when I lock, load, and I block foes in When I stop souls in a rock, hold, I'ma drop those sins In a box so slim Inside of my nog' grows grim My hurt, it goes deep I serve and go weep A vertical leap when you're alert in your sleep Was a word of a treatment, somebody murdered more peace Inside of my third it's so bleak Done so much dirt I grow leaf to chief [Hook: Krizz Kaliko] Don't let this eat me alive I only can see this world from the inside And I'm holding it inside Feel like I can cock it back and let it go And nothing's making sense And I have no patience for anything So I'm going on everything Somebody get me out of here [Verse 2: Tech N9ne] I'm thinkin' about my lady, is she doin' something shady? Like havin' dudes around my baby, situations got me crazy Brainiac in subjects, but a maniac in public Where they train me at is insane we sat with no zany act We in thuggish - mode, feelin' my love is - cold In about a minute I'ma flip my top, gonna watch my mug ex-plode What I need right now from a lady is a kiss and a hug at -shows Got a grudge, it - holds God bless my rugged - soul But I got it, I'm stable, I'm for real I'm willin' and able Got you feelin' I'm ill and I'm crazed go Get the manic depressant pill on the table What'll keep me cool is a good birthday for my baby girl 'Till that time I'm dealin' with my mind and trippin' up with the crime in this crazy world [Hook: Krizz Kaliko] Don't let this eat me alive I only can see this world from the inside And I'm holding it inside Feel like I can cock it back and let it go And nothing's making sense And I have no patience for anything So I'm going on everything Somebody get me out of here [Verse 3: Jay Trilogy] Look in my eyes You can probably see the crazy feats of danger that I've survived Don't wanna relive 'em If you make me, then I get livid I might just go commit a crime I can feel 'em starin' at me all crazy Like they don't understand what I be s-sayin' But you ain't seen death Man I been awake for seven days and I just cannot stop shakin' So now I'm bout to take another shot and try to battle all my demons, can't let em win I'ma take a semi automic into my dream and pop shots until they all drop to the end And that was goin fine Until I had a small flashback and they all started risin' from the dead And now they start to double and double, and this shit's overwhelming but I gotta find a exit quick My psychiatrist told me I ain't got no hope I ain't got no pills that I can pop to cope Just need to buckle down, and try to battle it out And try to dodge the shit that they about to throw I know I put in the hours But it still feels like I got a loose grip on my skill set But fuck it I know I gotta get a grip on my head if I'm really bout to do this All or nothin' man I gotta give it all I got One shot gotta make this shit count I'm on the clock Watch, my shit tockin' Sweat drippin' from the top of my head fallin' to my eyes, so God Please help me do my best Then pop, there's a hole in my bullet-proof vest Shot to the chest man, I'm runnin' out of breath But I can't leave this world till I lay this shit to rest, ahh! [Hook: Krizz Kaliko] Don't let this eat me alive I only can see this world from the inside And I'm holding it inside Feel like I can cock it back and let it go And nothing's making sense And I have no patience for anything So I'm going on everything Somebody get me out of here. as someone who deals with PTSD, I can't stress how accurate this is. even replacing the anger in terms of being sad and terrified when triggers appear, it's so accurate and I've had this song on repeat for days. makes me feel more human knowing that these feelings and symptoms appear in people other than myself. thank you Tech and everyone who had a part in this song for making yet another song that I and many other people can relate to. :)

Deal with this on a day to day bassist and this song is one way to deal with the shit life throws at all of us. PTSD is not something to joke about if not delt with the right way shit could go down hill real fast so if you see someone dealing with shit and need help HELP THEM don’t sit there and think there ok coz people who acted happy with ptsd 9 times out of 10 there not all it takes is to ask are you ok? That on its own could change someone for ever

As someone who is struggling with PTSD, thank you Tech. This hits home. I'm trying so hard to get over these thoughts and sleepless nights, it's been a rough year and even though you probably won't see this comment, realizing you aren't alone in this confusion helps more than anything. Thank you, Tech. Your music is meant for more than just listening.
