I hope this song helps somebody out there today… This song was written for all of those who have had to embrace the monsters in under their beds and the demons outside their windows. This is for those who have struggled in life and had to overcome sometimes sadly by having to accept. This for those that dare to be different

Rock bottom is all some of know, rock bottom never let us down. Rock bottom is our brother, our best friend, our father our soul mate. rock bottom is home. There is no ladder and no way out. Demons in the closet have the shoulders we cry on, the hands that guide us. Those dragons carry our monkeys on their backs that keep us entertained and obedient. That monster is ourselves and we have been torn with what is comfortable and expected, what should and should not be. That boogieman is me.

Now I'm left with maybe I'm just too broken to be loved even though my wife has gone through hell trying to show me I am worth more than physical security and my ability to do any damage I please at any point in time. That makes me a great soldier not a husband and father. I have alot of work to do. I Appreciate you sharing your struggle. I feel it more than I ever wanted to. I hope you get where you want to be.

Girl! I felt that in my bones. I'm a mother of 4, I'm 31 and my oldest is 15. I was 15 when I got pregnant with him and 16 and married when I had him. To a terrible person. He was way older and I had to be the parent and adult. Before that I lost everyone that I was raised with. Homeless I got with him not having anywhere to be. Good vibes to you mama, keep on keeping on. Good job girl!

These guys "never let me down"!! This kind of music helps you deal with life. Thanks for never stopping Krizz. This is a masterpiece from all of you. This really hit me hard. What an amazing hook from Jelly and verse from Tech. I loved it.

The first time I ever heard this song I was literally sitting in my car on the side of an old dirty road with a bottle of jack and a hand full of pills about to piss away 11 years of sobriety. As soon as you said "I broke a promise to myself today" I busted out in tears and threw everything in a cotton field. I would just like to say Thank you for saving my life that day Jelly
