I love this song! My late husband's favorite and this was our wedding song❤️ My husband sang this to me many times❤️ He sang acapella. He amazingly learnt all the songs by listening. His favorite duet was Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga. He adored Tony Bennet, as well as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and many more.. I think I sort of obsessed with this song with these two great men. I used to play this album to my husband at the hospital when he was in a coma. When he regained consciousness this one was the si g that he loved te most. He muttered the lyrics and moved his hand like following the rhythm. He lost his battle with cancer and covid, but this song so beautifully interpreted is mine and his and it will always be. I listen to it everyday, and at night before going to sleep. My dear Carlos, he is already in Paradise, waiting for me..

I have loved Tony Bennett since I was 15 years old when all my contemparies were falling in love with Michael Jackson! I went to see him in a small supper club in UK when I was 16 and it is still one of my favourite memories. He is still fantastic in his nineties, long may he continue.

Both these guys are beautiful in their voices and ways. Tony in English is in his element and his enunciations, particularly his consonants, show the way to do it. Andrea makes the bridge with its long sustained notes fabulous. I agree there is no-one out there to replace master Tony.

Of course, Olga, we know the history of this song and the composers, but most of us know the song from the 1953 musical "Kismet." Many songs come from old classical numbers, operas, etc. They are beautiful and that's why the melody is used subsequently in other songs! NO one is slighting anybody!
