Stranger Things 2 - Custom Made "Palace Arcade" Sign Prop Model

Hello KZbinrs I'm Chris,
Stay tuned to my Channel over the next few months as i will be making miniature models and props from TV Series and Movies.
So I'm a big Fan of the Netflix TV Series "Stranger Things". In Season 2 Episode 1, there is the Palace Arcade in Hawkins Indiana (a Fictional Town) and throughout the episodes the Arcade from the 80's appears, sure does bring back memories of my childhood!
So i thought that rotating arcade sign looks so cool I had to make one. The next process to source references from the film footage, photos from google maps and also screen grabs to help depict the final piece. The rest was up to my imagination and creativity to put all the pieces together as a fully functional scale model.
The build involved long hours (approx 140hrs). Equipment: The use of 3D Modelling, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Engraving, Sublimation, as well as some basic electronics and some good painting skills!.....oh and of course to mention my many years experience in Model Making and Industrial Design.....!
It was a fun build and a few issues to iron out such as the battery box darkening out one corner when illuminated. The position of the light switch to be hidden or use of a micro switch. If i were to build another one, i was thinking of adding the "Upside Down" with the vines growing over the entire sigh itself as well as making the light flicker......Heck Yeah......!
