I personally loved the trailer! This season is going to be HUGE. I love that they’re dividing more into the horror genre. I also think this trailer felt a little bit like a Marvel or even just a doctor strange MoM trailer. Is it just me or did I see Billy multiple times in this trailer? Like wasn’t that him floating around in whatever in the upside down? It honestly looked like him although I have no clue how it could be. And it also looked like hun fighting whatever it was in the upside down during that scene where everything was blood red. I think somehow he is alive. And not only that but wtf is with Max having powers??? I heard she is playing a much bigger roll this time around which is why she is seeing the clock and the one who is starting off the trailer. She actually is the main focus this season. And my theory is that whoever that nightwalker looking dude is, I think he originated from the Creel House which is why it was being showcased over and over again along with the family. They even showed the house in the upside down as if trying to show it’s the center of everything in the upside down. It’s probably where that thing resides and I don’t know how but I think that thing was originally a person who resided in that home in the real world.

My prediction, Dr. Brenner will meet his demise. In each season we've had a casualty by the hands of the main beast of the season, of a character who's name starts with B. In Season 1 it was Barbara, at the hands of the Demogorgon. Season 2 it was Bob, Torn open by a Demodog. Season 3 was Billy, impaled by the Mind Flayer. Season 4 could be Brenner, killed by Vecna.
