With Papa, I have to keep reminding myself that Matthew Modine is lovely human who fights for all of his fellow actors on the board of their union. We only hate him because he is really good at his job. *Also, the basketball team look like "the men in black" because they went to investigate Reefer Rick's house straight from Chrissy's funeral without going home to change.

I’ve seen so many stranger things reactions but none of them clocked how fake Chrissy’s mother acted at the funeral service. Chrissy’s mother was the one that caused her depression and bulimia but at the funeral she was giving a fake eulogy about how great of a person Chrissy was.

35:38 They don't appear to be flying high enough where a hole in the windscreen would matter. As a general rule of thumb, any altitude of 10,000 ft ASL (above sea level) or lower, is considered a safe altitude to fly in without the need of a pressurized cabin or supplemental oxygen. You could essentially be flying in a seat that's fully exposed to the outside, and you'd be fine (though it'd be a bit windy). You could tell the plane isn't pressurized by the fact that once Joyce shot through the windscreen, things didn't start trying to fly out the hole - there was no sudden decompression. Anything over 10,000 ft, and now you need to be in a pressurized cabin. The extra pressure helps counteract the fact that you are climbing to levels where oxygen is greatly diminished. Think of the people who climb Mt. Everest. Once they get to a certain altitude, they have to use supplemental oxygen which they're breathing through masks. Only a few people can reach the summit on their own with no extra oxygen - it's rare and you have to be highly-trained and conditioned. Your average commercial airline passenger is NOT that (and most cruising altitudes are even higher than Mt. Everest anyway).

Prop planes generally can’t fly so high that they need to be pressurized, so no worries about the broken window. You can fly high enough to need additional oxygen, but then think about how the propeller works, there’s not enough oxygen to spin and push against the wings to create lift, so there’s a limit. If you think about the shape of the wing, a curved surface on top, flat below, when two air molecules start at the same point on the leading edge and one goes over the top, one below, because of the curve on top (top is longer than the bottom) there’s more distance to travel, so the air molecules on the top start to “lose the race” and spread out meaning less of them on top than below. The air molecules below have a straight distance to travel and get there all together. This is how the lift is created..the air below the wing is more dense. This is why if you direct the shower stream towards the shower curtain, the curtain gets “drawn” towards the stream as the stream speeds up all the air and on the other side of the curtain, normal air is more dense, lift gets created by the less dense air. You can demonstrate with paper and the kitchen faucet stream too.

One of the most fun reactions, I mean the commentary is hilariously on point, to ST4! The guys in suits harken back to Reservoir Dogs, and they'd just attended Chrissy's funeral! So they would actually, if when they find him, will want to make Eddie" swim with the fishes" (the movie mobster saying of throwing a guy they kill into the lake/river/ocean/body of water), and so plane aerodynamics rely on the wings for lift and the engine simply provides forward thrust so they could technically glide for a while until they lose altitude/height steadily and if skilled enough they won't crash but just land relying on the air interacting with the wings (as much as I can say without knowing anything specifically about aerodynamics). That's why in especially WWII aerial dogfights, if a wing is taken out while an engine is still okay, that plane is screwed: no control, so will spin out of control and fall from the sky. And if an engine is shot, It would blow up, I'm pretty sure. Or if it's not the fuel tank that's shot and it's the engine damaged, then it leaks oil? (Only guessing at this point) But that crash landing by Murray IS a miracle!

A hole in a plane window only matters if the plane is pressurized, which they mostly do to jets that fly at high altitudes. The air at such altitudes is thin, so they pump in air so that the passengers can breath normally. If a window is broken, it lets the air escape, the pressure drops and people need oxygen masks to breath. However, the loss of pressure doesn't affect the plane's ability to fly. When a plane is at a lower altitude, it's not pressurized, so a hole in the window isn't going to do anything. Well, it WILL let the cold air in, which can be a problem, especially if you're flying in a cold region, like they were, but that's about it..

You can clearly see the CGI, lol. They hired a younger actress to fit the frame of a child and then used CGI to overlay Eleven's de-aged face onto the actress. It’s not the greatest CGI work, but I guess it gets the job done.
