The fact that Eddie(Joseph Quinn) was really playing makes his Metallica riff so much more badass!

@@DougTera yes I've seen several interviews where he was talking about it. He also went to Coachella and played the song backstage with the band. They autographed a guitar that looked almost exactly like the one on the show. And they used visuals of him playing it in Stranger Things while they played onstage.
