Man, I forgot how much I love the first season (although all 3 seasons are excellent). This episode is where everything really starts to ramp up. Winona Ryder is so good in this series, and this episode really highlights that. Great reaction! I love seeing the wheels turning in your minds each episode as you're trying to figure it all out!

I know this is only 3 episodes in, but this one pretty much establishes how important these characters are to each other and even us. But without giving anything away, there is still more of the STU(Stranger Things Universe) to discover.

I remember when seeing that scene of Will body being pulled out of the quarry, I was so sad. I couldn't believe Will died. And then seeing Mike hug his mom crushed me. But hey, at least now you've got some info with Dr. Brenner and that whole MK Ultra crap he has going on. Creepy dude. Creepier to think some of these experiments actually occurred in real life. Gives me the chills that people are out there working on secret "projects" and messing with things they shouldn't be messing with. Crazy. And yes! Lucy is a fantastic movie. That movie blew my mind. Isn't all of this interesting? Can't wait til you guys find out more of what's going on here with Eleven. - Yvette

6:00 Okay...that's just painful to watch! lol They need to treat those Star Wars toys with just a little bit more respect. 🤬🤣🤣 Wynona Ryder does WEIRD really, really well. She's done Edward Scissorhands, Dracula, BeetleJuice, Lucas, Alien, The Crucible, Girl Interrupted; and the list goes on & on. Weird characters, one & all, but they are all memorable. And now we have Joyce. Nobody does crazy;not crazy, like she does. Love her. 😊🌺🏝️❤️

@@DuoReacts That's awesome : ) Since you do, I'd like to highly recommend you watch "From JFK to 911: Everything is a Rich Man's Trick" uploaded by Alexander Avella III here on YTube. Idk when you'll have the time since it is 3.5hrs long, but if you watch the first 30min-hour, i guarantee you'll want to finish the rest- and, imo, it's worth viewing more than everything you've seen and uploaded here combined. It is a truer account of the history of our country (& world) that isn't taught to us in schools, & helps to explain why there's so much division in the country & elsewhere right now. Makes me sad & pissed. Btw, just click "confirm" when you click on the video to watch (you'll see what i mean).

The idea that we only use a small part of our brains is a bit of a discredited but still prevalent false concept. Granted we only consciously use a small part for thinking, but the vast majority of the brain is constantly at work operating and regulating our bodies and senses.

There are a number of anachronisms in this episode, but the one that really bugs me is the use of Peter Gabriel's 2010 cover of the 1977 David Bowie song "Heroes" as the closing song.
@brianito77724 жыл бұрын
@@CraigKostelecky Possibly, but it's still an anachronism. The last argument is a weak one, no offense intended. It's set in a specific era and things easily controlled, like song choice, shouldn't be so obviously out of that time frame. 27 years?
