One of my favorite episodes this season. The guy who plays Billy is an amazing actor.

It's true that Jonathan and Nancy can't understand each other. Nancy was exposed to a form discrimination, which Jonathan never had to face, and Jonathan's family was not like Nancy's (which was relatively wealthy) so he'd take any job as long as the pay was ok. He was ready to throw away his personal pride when it comes to workplace.

I actually love that scene because of how realistic it is, with each character pointing out the other's privilege. The fact is, Nancy and Jonathan *don't* have much in common with each other outside their shared trauma and the people around them. It's always interesting to see them navigate a relationship despite this, and the fact that they address it is why I think they're one of the stronger couples in the series. That's a well-written conflict right there.

You know how Billy told Karen to leave him alone in the pool shed? Like it was a fragment of himself, trying to protect her? I think Nancy and Jonathan's boss might've been the same. Trying to get rid of them so they wouldn't be hurt.

Millie has said many times that the part when she falls back into Mike's arms (after she throws Billy through the brick wall) was not scripted. She was genuinely exhausted. The cameras followed and they just went with it. They apparently filmed this over like 3 days. I would be exhausted too from having to scream for 3 days straight...

Probably my favorite episode of the entire series. The scene with the kids and Billy, with Mrs. Driscoll screaming at the same time, gave me chills. Enjoy the ride to the season finale!

The creep level has PEAKED lol. What an awesome (and scary) showdown between Eleven and Billy. And how about that end scene? It reminds me of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" in which they all line up and sing in a zombie-like trance like in the music video. This was a great episode. Now the action comes into place. I seriously thought Billy was gonna really hurt El. We haven't seen El get physically attacked like that in that way before. Making it seem more personal. But shes good for now. Let's see what comes afterwards in the next episode. Peace!

Billy was about to attack mike and that’s when El got real pissed. I mean she was just strangled and she managed to freeking get up and go between mike and billy to help him. I mean no one messes with her man

For some reason the emotion in that moment almost makes me cry. Like the way she puts herself between Billy and Mike and summons every bit of power she has to keep Billy from hurting Mike... I dno it just gets me in the feels

I like Erica but I kind of wish Holly could have been the one in Robin, Steve and Dustin’s team. She definitely could have fit in the vents. Hoping Holly has a bigger role in season for so she can be part of the squad with her siblings. :)

Actually Hopper did kinda made mike lie. Because we didn’t actually see the conversation between them in the car on ride back to mikes house, but hopper did tell mike to back off otherwise he won’t let him see her at all. I mean he’s a kid, what did u expect him to do.

they were both wrong in the situation mike didn't have to go that far with the lie especially about a family member (pretty messed up) even if he was scared he could have gone the route of 'i can't see you' and left it at that mike continued to spin the lie and said some disrespectful shit behind her back so he isn't totally innocent hopper also shouldn't have gone to that level and just should have done what joyce suggested but i think it's really hard for hopper because he was kind of thrust into randomly having a teenager, something he is not used to and on top of that a teen with powers it's understandable why BOTH did what they did so i don't completely fault either of them but were they both wrong and fucked up? absolutely do i still love them both as characters? absolutely but we can acknowledge how they both did something not so great hopper started it and mike escalated it to a level that was not needed eleven has the right to be mad at them both but hopper isn't really around right now so mike it is lol
