My theory on why I think the upside down was stuck in 1983 is because that’s when the portal to the upside down was actually made, and will got abducted by the demogorgan, but I do feel like will has apart of him in vecna or vecna has apart of him in will because, 1. Will knows when he’s there, 2. he was the first one captured (could’ve been a coincidence though) 3. Like the video said and like Victor creel said “my boy is a sensitive kid” and Joyce also said that about will, so maybe vecna saw something in him and got him? Idk just a theory. I just hope when and IF they kill vecna it won’t kill will either. And will also drew the same thing (the mind flayer) on a piece of paper like henry did, so maybe the both saw it (Ik will did) but why would vecna show him the mind flayer unless he wanted him to see it, and will was the first one flayed. And for Karen, she had her own poster for season 4, with Victor creels house, so she maybe Henry’s sister or have something to do with it because she always kind of seemed to know something, like being suspicious about stuff, and when holly said about the snow Karen looked concerned about the snow. And again for the upside down, Vecna might of created it like how he shaped it and how the vines warn vecna when they touch it, but also how he could see everyone in the upside down (like when he’s in the upside down he can see everyone) but then again el did open it so idk One more theory is that (it’s related to the Karen theory) since Karen did get her own poster and that and she MAY be Henry/001/vecna’s sister, maybe that’s why vecna got Nancy and showed her all of that, and Nancy did say she saw her mum. And every season (apart from season one) a hero always dies, so el might die (I hope not) or maybe will since he is connected to the whole story and he’s gonna be a big character in season 5 (I also hope will doesn’t die) but yeah el and will may die ☹️ hopefully not though! I JUST CAN’T WAIT FOR SEASON 5!!

I believe they gonna find out they have to kill will to weaken vecna, that way 11 can kill him, but he is still more powerful than 11. So she sacrifices herself to kill him, just like season 1 when she did it but never died and ended up in the upside down.
