I lived in Rome for 4 years and go back every so often to visit friends. If you guys want to sweeten up a lady, take her to Trastevere. The Gianicolo at the 11:00 mark is, without a doubt, the best view in all of Rome. My University was only a few minutes walk and I would sometimes go out there for a picnic lunch. As a matter of fact, they are shown driving by our University library at the 10:57 mark. It is the 2 green doors on the left-hand side, which lead to the stairs going up into the building. They also must have paid quite a bit for that room because they are extremely close to the Amphitheater (Colosseum), and in the gayborhood (meaning neat and clean, an exception for Rome). As a matter of fact, the church they are in front of when they announce they checked into their hotel is called Basilica San Clemente and it goes down multiple floors to the original levels of kingdom-era Rome. Great area.

Yup. The neighborhood is mostly full of gay people, has pride flags everywhere, and is (by far) the cleanest area in Rome. It also has some awesome food joints and bars.
