Note that the taxi drop off and pick up at Washington DC Union Station in 1951 is where the Metrorail Station entrance is today.

Opening set up of the movie. Some nice shots of the lost Penn Station. 2 very different pairs of shoes meet by accident in the Club car. And a murder ensues. Bruno is a psychopath with spectator shoes. Guy in sensible brogues is intrigued by his dangerous persona.

Please note that the correct title of this 1951 film is "Strangers on a Train," not "Strangers in the Train."
