Great video. I have heard of Strasbourg, mostly for its Christmas lights and markets. Now I need to go. Thanks for showing us all of the history and the architecture. Strasbourg cathedral doesn't even look real!

To be honest, all of downtown is great for shopping. Especially around the Homme de Fer tram station, to the Grandes Arcades all the way to Grand Rue. If you cross the Ill to the north you have the German district called Neustadt.

"Thanks for sharing your insights about Strasbourg, EverShy! I’ve been there as well, and I completely agree-downtown Strasbourg is fantastic for shopping, especially around Homme de Fer and along the Grand Rue. Neustadt is such a fascinating area with its German architectural influence. Do you have any hidden gems or must-visit spots in Neustadt that you'd recommend? I’m always looking to discover something new!"

@@ProjectGaiaTravel Take the Tram C. From the République tram station to the University, you'll see some really cool Art Nouveau and Renaissance architecture. The one exception is the "Hotel des Postes" which is Gothic. It was a post office before. The "Avenue de la Liberté" is kinda known as Strasbourg's Champs Elysées. There are hidden gems everywhere! One of the most surprising one is this "Egyptian house" ("maison égyptienne" in french).
