Sadly the 100 mile lookout won’t be there much longer if it’s even open anymore. They are building houses there. Really sucks because it has beautiful views. The funnest thing there I found was the trolly tour. It was crazy and you learn a lot about the town

I went to York on a school trip in the last year of juniors. I saved up 10 shillings to buy my Mum a gift in the many gift shops there. An old woman in a Harry Potter-type shop ripped me off. I gave her a 10 Bob note to pay for the small gift which was 5 shillings. She gave me no change and told her and she had given it to me. Strange how things like that stick in your mind.

i lived here for two years thinking it was THE place to live ....it was in my youth....now theres no decent shops and the whole city is full of cafe bars ,restsaurants and ice cream parlours ....nothing for locals ,,, a lot of shops are now empty ...,now its just a place for day trippers ....nowhere to park and if there is the prices are horrific ...the ring road to enter any part is at a standstill from 8am to 8pm....weekends are worse ...we wouldnt leave the house on a sunday in the car as the roads were horrific....York needs to get its act together as what was once an amazing place to live and visit is quickly becoming a place to avoid!

Twelve years I’ve lived here and I just heard about Historic New Castle (15 mins from me) went last weekend and it was AWESOME!!! I heard of New Castle but I’ve passed by and gone around it… assuming it was just another run down neighborhood south of Wilmington (and the surrounding area is pretty run down!)
